Just out of curiosity, I support club over any 1 player, but why have you specifically targeted Bruno in this comment? Is Mazraoui a CB or RWB? Is Garnacho a LWB or CAM? Is Antony a RWB? is Malacia a LWB? Is Zirkzee a Striker? Our biggest issue here is that Amorim has come in mid season with a brand new system & formation without the correct players to play such a system & formation, constantly trying to ram square pegs into round holes, and it's killing us. By the way, I'm not saying Bruno isn't a problem in this team, he massively is and has been for a while, but show some fairness and don't just target one player. Most of this current squad are being played out of position.

@ste4392 Okay well you can say that they're both "victims of availability" but that's just not the case, Ugarte is available, he's been decent, Mazraoui & Maguire, Available and decent. Although Bruno & Dalot are available every game, they most certainly have not been decent. So I tend to think of it that they're not victims of anything, but moreso they just haven't been anywhere near good enough despite being available. I'm available every week also, that doesn't mean I should be playing. Dalot sometimes shows flashes of a good technical footballer, but my god is he not one of the most brainless footballers I've ever witnesses. Room temperature IQ footballer Dalot is. Anyone who thinks we should get rid of Dalot, Martinez and Garnacho needs their head looking at.There are definitely players we should jettison, like the captain for instance, but these are quality players with outstanding ball control and physical ability. If we sell them it will come back to bite us. Nearly every player on that pitch is frustrated and confused with the new system, that's why we're losing to lesser teams. We also go backwards and sideways too much for the sake of keeping the ball. Which is as frustrating as how often we wasted possession under ETH. We are so void of quality to play with a back three and two tens, if he doesn't buy a load of players in Jan or play a back 4, we are in a relegation scrap. Rashford looks nailed on to go in Jan. Maybe we get £40m. Maybe that buys 2 players and a loan. Maybe we can get lucky and move Casemiro, Eriksen and Antony on all in Jan. Or this squad, with this set up, is in trouble.

Garnacho Most G/A at the club this season, Rashford 3rd most G/A and top scorer in the league, united desperately need goals but Amorim cant swallow his pride and select them. Its 5 losses in 9 games without rashford compared to 4 losses in 18 with him. We are objectively a better team with Rashford and its ridiculous to have sidelined him. If we continue to leave rashford out, we will lose all 3 of our next games and struggle. Bring him back NOW!

Ste, you were spot on when you said it’s all about recruitment and that managers / coaches have a limited influence by comparison, and our recruitment has been truly shocking for years now, especially during Ten Haag’s reign. We’ve seen a decline year on year with the standard of our squad, whilst the overall standard of the league has improved, hence why the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton, Forest are essentially better teams than we are now. 14th is where we’re at.

None of these issues directly relate to the coaches / managers not being good enough. There’s now way Moyes, LVG, Jose, Ole, ETH, Amorim are all bad coaches. It’s the rest of it that’s a mess, and a large part of that mess is recruitment, player profiling, wages, contacts, which goes back to my original point

Since 77. Playing 3 at the back hasn’t been the magic bullet to fix us, Amorim was sold a pup and is suffering the same fate as previous Managers. If we get relegated a lot of players will have release clauses, but they’ll keep us up - just. Our history owes us nothing but I love this club.
