Almost all Dieng is missing is mindset. I can’t imagine being a 6’10 silky smooth wing that can dribble and shoot and not play with aggression, the way he plays a lot of the times makes him like a foot shorter

AJ is niiiice. Super solid. Vision touch positional defense. He’s gonna outplay his g league role and get minutes after all star break. Mistake free
@OvadiaCorporationАй бұрын
Ajay Mitchell and Dillion Jones have been far better than Dieng in every Summer League game thus far, Ajay looking like a top 5 draft pick in a small sample size. Dieng could be a bench guy for a sub-.500, not even top 12 player for OKC.
@jtsunami6531Ай бұрын
Yeah buddy now disrespect but you’re all little too high on dillon jones and ajay mitchell 😆 Dieng will see more run than any of those 2 fyi.
@colindooling3954Ай бұрын
Dillon Jones, maybe. Ajay Mitchell, no. And Ajay is good and I’m a fan of his game, but he definitely doesn’t look like a top 5 pick

@@jtsunami6531 Dieng is not a productive player, OKC can try to develop him more, but no indication he can be a quality player yet. Other than Edey, Ajay has been the best incoming rookie I've seen in Summer League thus far based on my eye test, not saying that'll 100% translate to production in the season, but it's a good sign for sure.
@lanepoovey826Ай бұрын
To be fair Dieng isn’t out there trying to fill the stat sheet, he’s constantly going for hustle plays and setting up his teammates. Definitely a decent portion of Ajays success is because of Dieng
@playboicartissock2340Ай бұрын
Dieng has talent but he doesn’t have the edge and toughness to take that next step yet that’s happens a lot with these foreign prospects same thing happened with Poku he was super talented but he didn’t play with the fire and edge the rest of the team did
@KBilliezАй бұрын
I’m starting to feel that way too but he’s only 21 which is crazy so I’m willing to give him this year before I say he’s chalked. Love his game and he would be perfect for what we need

Ous will only be extended it he agrees to a minimum long term deal. And even then, it will probably be used as a trade chip. He may make it as an NBA player one day, but probably not with OKC.

@@JayElDipleePresti is the worst GM in the NBA. He selected Westbrook who is only number in triple doubles, harden is just another hall of famer, Ibaka and Adams who ere both big men who were dominate and most teams didn’t give them a 2nd look. Along with Giddy who is over rated even though he’s one of the best passers in the league league. This isn’t even getting into J-Dub who is pretty much just a poor man’s Scotty Pippen it’s like J-Dub would go and average 20+ with a good shooting percentage. And Chet don’t get me started on Chet he didn’t even rookie of the year over a player that will probably be a generational player. If you really think about presti trash and OKC has been ran worse than the knicks fir them past decade. /s 😂
