Somehow (it's not answered in the manga yet) in a dream both encountered a golden hourglass in which flipping it reverts the physical age, but not the lifespan of the person (the hourglass deteriorates with age and will break in near death). The grandpa is the only who retains the memory of the dream and tells grandma about it.

In the manga, they dreamt about the hourglass which they can turn it upside down whenever they want to be look old or young. The downside was that even if they turned young, it doesnt mean they can live longer, as the crack in the hourglass leaking sand shows. Or at least thats what they deduced. Edit: to clarify my second statement, they happened to bring back their youthful appearance and strength but not their longevity. Though, my worry is that there's a possibility that the more they flipped the hourglass, they more faster that sand leaks out.

I didn’t read the manga but I’m guessing the effects of that golden apple wear off and they return to their elderly age. But apparently Grandma has a sweet tooth and has been secretly hiding her guilty pleasure of eating sweets from Grandpa. Since Grandma was eating sweets and Grandpa wasn’t, I’m guessing the sweets sustain the youthful effects of the golden apple. So when Grandpa ate sweets for the first time since turning young again, it seems to restart the youthful effects of that golden apple in Grandpa. Eat the golden apple to turn young and eat sweets to stay young, I’m guessing.

They have access to an hourglass in their dreams, if they reverse/flip it they can swap between old/young forms. However they do not gain any lifespan doing it. If they are in their late 70's, and say their life span is 90, they will still die in 15 years or so even if they look young. They are not immortal, they just gained back their young bodies but they only have so much time. Its why their hair is still grey/silver in color, in their youth both of them had black hair.

@@huh5950 no I meant whole content for 20 minutes episode You see if the episode 1 is like grabbing 4-5 chapter then the issue for episode 3 is that the gramps shouldn't get old again in this episode in my personal gaps it should around 6 episode. I know some of the chapter are filler but......... The filler here is the reason the manga is good. And they skip some of it if just say in episode 3 they revealed the grandpa old again then stop credits for next episode 4 and rest I will accept it at least barely but who am I right🤔
