I was at the Prince of Wales in St Kilda on a Sunday arvo in '95 helping a mate who worked there & asked him why there were holes in the ceiling above the stage in the band room. "TISM played last night". That was my introduction. Love em.

I'm a yob I'm a yob I'm a yob I'm a yob I'm a yob I'm a yob I'm a yob I'm a yob. I can't decide if TISM is brilliant social allegory, or debased filthy schlock. Thus is their universal appeal.

I have listened to tism for years but no one in America knows about them . Were they popular in Australia? They made great videos and seemed way ahead of their time . Here we had those damn wiggles and even though Jeff was good they were no TISM

When did they split?
@eyevocal6 жыл бұрын
jawbraeka It looks like their last proper performance was in 2004. In 2008, their guitarist James Paull (Tokin' Blackman) passed away. Damien Cowell (Humphrey P. Flaubert) has had side bands called Root!, DC3 and Damien Cowell's Disco Machine, while bassist Jock Cheese released a solo album entitled Platter. They did release a new version of "Shut Up - The Footy's on the Radio" in 2010 with Jock on guitar and Humphrey singing new lyrics. Have they actually split up? We'll never know.
