This pitch is a much higher frequency than that of the other whale species with migration patterns most closely resembling this whale's- the blue whale (10-39 Hz) or fin whale (20 Hz). It has been detected regularly in many locations since the late 1980s and appears to be the only individual emitting a whale call at this frequency. It has been described as the "world's loneliest whale". BTS used this as a significant metaphor for their song. Whalien is one of the most underrated songs. It's honestly one of my favorites! You will notice that Kore (whale in Korean) in a lot of places. For example We are Bulletproof: the External MV. If you rewatch the video, you will notice BTS riding on Kore in one part.

The line 'even loneliness turned into something you can see' translation actually should be 'in your eyes, my loneliness is what I am pretending" it means the people around them think they are stars and popular so they think that bts are never lonely, but only bts themselves know their loneliness. Even when they say that to other people, they would just think that bts are pretending to be lonely in order to get attention but not for real.

Back then, BTS weren't that known, so this lonely whale speaking in a different frequency could also be a metaphor for their music. They weren't heard by the people. But Jungkook sang "I believe in my Hertz" so that means they believed in their music and now look where they come to, so many people are hearing what they are saying now 🥺
