It's not about his mom , that's why he starts the song with -- "They say the universe, it works in a strange way And it must be true because, we ain't from the same background or same place But me and Lesley ended up on that same train" The line that you're reading from(the reddit post) , it's literally wrong. In the album psychodrama, there's a track in which he says , " That Lesley was a relative."

Sorry Brothers, but the song at the end is about "a child without a name". Lesley gave birth to a surviving baby, but died as a result of her injuries.. (It's just wrong)
