I know what you’re going through. I am having to fix the gear box on my cutter this year for the second time, my back glass got busted in the tractor, had a hydraulic hose bust on the rake, had a J tube break off the rake, just yesterday I had a bull die unexpectedly and if we don’t get some rain soon I am going to have to start feeding hay that I am going to be short on because it is so dry this year…Farming is hard but I love it.

Blind Melon is a good band. No rain isn't so great though, been a problem this year. Fortunately many of our fields are low enough to grow something even if it is only canary grass.... Dad pastures right to the road. We live on gravel roads so the grader man doesn't care for that too much but Dad likes clean ditches. I was so interested in Storla Station so when I found they have a website I had to check it out. Lo and behold there's a picture of Brian on the store history page. What an incredible story of neighbors coming together. A true cooperative. Some day when I go to the corn palace in Mitchell, I'm going to find Storla Station. I have to support more than just a shirt but I will get one of those too.

We got gates like that on end of our barn, The horses figured out how to open them to get in the barn. We thought someone was leaving the gates open until we seen a mare do it. Putting snaps on the chain is easier than chasing critters in the dark.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Know what you mean by ditch baling and mowing gets expensive. You folks have had a lot happening with your ditch mowing I must admit. Wow. Not a bearing case out on the mower. Like Brian said , that will be expensive. Sorry. We never liked doing it either. Always something happened. Oh my. Hopefully you will get enough bales off the ditches to offset the cost of repairs. Interesting. Thanks for the song of the day Brian. Don’t know that one. Will check it out. Thanks Brian. Nice drive thru gate Cole. Next time remember the chain for the gate. Just giving you a bad time. Hope you get the rain they are talking about. Your soybeans look great. About it for now. You guys need to go by the Army and Navy store and purchase a few Ammunition Cans, and weld yourself a shelf or something that can hold the ammo cans, and stick some Acme hand tools into it on each piece of equipment. The Ammo cans have a rubber seal and they will last for a really long time. I have had these ammo cans for over 4 decades and they still have a seal and keep everything I put into them dry. I use them mostly for ammo that I make and the gunpowder. Scott in southern Oregon

You all are like me, the best intentions in mind, however sometimes a guy has to question that decision. I could see all those things happening to me and my son when doing hay. Last year I thought I would jump in and bale some hay without powdering the roller, not the right decision. That cost me around $300 or so dollars, the netting wrapped around the roller and caused the sensors to miss align. Anyways, good luck with the rest of the ditch hay, as always I enjoyed watching.
