The state of play was A tier: RE4 remake at the start, SF6 at the middle and end it with FF16. Great start to summer game fest P.S Sony setting expectations and saying no 1st party and a good focus on VR from the start really helped. This as good as the presentation could have been, they really nailed it

The splashes of colour are really cool to see; very striking given the more grounded art style. An oh boy, 4:30 is something I've wanted to see in a fighting game, an whilst Street Fighter isn't my cup of tea, it's still super cool.

Unfortunately, a full release from a modern company seems all but impossible these days. Sure, Capcom has been having a pretty decent track record as of late, but with a fighter this high budget, it will likely be milked for all it's worth like the last 2. As always, could be wrong, & would appreciate being wrong, but history says otherwise.

Thats what this game is, i played with two dozen people in the middle of the ninetees.. And fighting games is sitting down and learning the moves unless you all play for the first time, then, of course, its just plug and play. But outside of that box its dry learning or die.

I do like that this seems to take place after Third Strike, or at least, Gill being introduced in 5 connected the timeline, with Luke being a young hopeful superstar that's going to meet Ryu after 3. I really like this vibe of both Chub-Li and Ryu looking like they're more at the master's role, with Ryu especially having his master's drip and his movements looking calm and one with nature, completely free of the Dark Hadou.
