Great shots of one of what has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. I made some hikes there starting om the same route but went from Schäfler to Säntis, Liesengrat, Meglisalp, Seealpsee and back to Wasserauen. From Ebenalp up to Schäfler is a relatively safe hike but going further from there I strongly advice good hiking gear and experience.

The Schäfler lies in the Alpstein, the Mountainrange in the Kanton of Appenzell Innerhoden. From Appenzell you need to take the Train to Wasserauen an then the cable Car to Ebenalp.
