In This Video, I will give my honest review of one of the best anime of the Fall 2023 Season Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. Season 1 of this anime was released on Sep 29, 2023. This anime has not yet been renewed for another season (because it's still going obviously). There is a manga that you can read if you want. This video contains small spoilers so be aware if you plan on watching the anime. This anime is currently available in the English dub.

It sucks,,, Gigguk was uploaded a manga video about Frienren,but the disappointed thing is, he just did the crying Frienren image from manga for his videos thumbnail that says "how it feels to lose everyone" Man he just fucking spoiled all by one thumbnail. He shouldn't give that thumbnail for his video, it is going to be a masterpiece,but Gigguk just spoiled about it's ending(litterelly it took my hole night sleep and day work just regreting that spoiler)

Excuse me, Heiter's favorite food is obviously Alcohol, not sour grapes. It was Eisen who likes sour grapes. And he actually got to enjoy Frieren's newly learned spell.

They did it so well to, they mentioned both pieces of information (Eisen liked sour grapes and Frieren learned a spell to make grapes sour) at different times with no mention that the information was connected. Then several episodes later they had a short clip in a montage of her casting a spell on grapes and Eisen and co eating them like a picnic, again without telling the audience what spell she cast or its significance. I love that kind of "subtle" storytelling, it's not really subtle but compared to what we get normally in media it certainly is.

Listen to me, Lunar. There is an anime that I think you really need to watch. The name of the anime is ' Kengan Ashura '. It is a fighting anime and has 2 seasons so far. I hope you give it a chance, because I personally consider it the greatest fighting anime that has ever existed. And I assure you, it is worth every second of your time.

Personally I like Baki more it goes more into specific characters in kengan ashura there’s too many random characters that have their own backstory where we get a 15 minutes cutscene of how this character is op as hell not even in Baki do they yap this much damn💀 Nah but seriously the first season was decent the second was just unwatchable in my opinion. Ppl talk about realism but if I want realism I can just watch a real mma fight instead

I agree that something that I hate in storytelling especially w/ overpowered MCs is that when they reincarnate in the future, suddenly the world is shit and there is no more advancements and usually the opposite where ppl are all stupid, don't figure things out and actually go backwards in advancements. It is truly unrealistic especially considering these societies, usually magic/murim based societies are based around these things. I would understand it better if lets say the MC is the world's best archer and reincarnates in the future where archery is useless cuz now they got bolt-action sniper rifles that are 10x more efficient and effective

If you loke fight, believe me, you will have fights in Frieren. The more we go north, the more dangerous and epic it becomes. It is a slice of life for sure. But when your life is adventuring the most dangerous region of the planet and you are a legendary mage, action will occur XD.

Great video, i just want to add smthg, There are a lot of elements that reminded me of to your eternity in friren, like the almost absence of dialogue ,the journey of a person through many struggles, and each place he visits there is a lesson to learn, And most importantly the main character has a long lifespan and the ones dear to the him will die eventually. But thats where the similarities end, becuz frieren touches all emotions, meanwhile to your eternity was way more on the sad part of the emotion spectrum

In my personal opinion, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a quiet but also a awesome anime. I find the story so far normal, but with every episode I see the anime getting better. The thing I liked most about it was the production, the world and creatures design, and the opening. But what I didn't like about it so far are the characters. They are very cold, their reactions are predictable, and their facial expressions are the same in almost every situation, so even the dramatic scenes in it didn't affect me at all. In general, the anime isn't great, but it is worth watching.

Being current with the Manga, while there's a lot of slower introspective moments, there's also a lot of intense action and some really dark moments as well. There's quite a lot of backstories covered and moments from their epic journey to beat the demon king. Most of these characters have very tragic histories. And there's still plenty of very dangerous high level demons who went quite for awhile after the demon king was killed. This series has plenty of the quiet moments and plenty of action.
