In This Video, I will give my honest review of one of the worst anime of the Winter 2023 Season. My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. I will be talking about what makes it one of the most popular anime of the season ... by insulting everything about it. Season 1 of this anime was released on Jan 7, 2023. This anime will probably not be renewed for another season. There is no manga or light novel since this is an anime original. This video contains Major spoilers so be aware if you plan on watching the anime. This anime is not currently available in the English dub.

the world building and lore is actually interesting, but man, they really messed up that potential.

Yeah I watched the entire season because of the fantasy(?) world with the sci-fi aesthetic. The beasts are really interesting, their functions all look artificial and technological, for example that huge pig at the first episode eating crystals with drill tendrils, then it looks like its smelting or refining the food in its stomach to power something on its back, from what I see, those beasts definitely can't evolve naturally, and they certainly have to be created by someone or something. The ships from humans all look high-tech, I'm guessing it's because they have access to strange materials from beasts and are capable of using it to make some complicated stuff. The final village they're in seems like they have complex magical technology of some sort, and if I were to make sense of it, I'd guess that their magic has something to do with utilizing 4-dimensional space or something similar. It's pretty clear they're doing an "any advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" kinda thing, and they'll probably show more about where all the tech came from if this has a continuation.

I've only played Fairy Fencer F. The Evil Goddess riute strongly implies it takes place in the far future after the Neptunia series and in a separate dimension. Cool secret premise, but it felt incompletely utilized. Were the other Eryns ever explained? Perhaps the nonexistent budget limited too much. My 1-game opinion of them is a bit worse than neutral. Also, the engine doesn't feel decently optimized. I have an opinion and free time to share it at Wendy's

I watched Inu-Kai and didn’t think it was that bad considering how other degen anime can become cess pools. But then again I’m into watching hentai and don’t see too much wrong with many of them. I recently found a really good anime from between 2005 to 2006 it's called "Solty Rei". And it's gotta be one of the best anime I've ever watched that has almost everything good about it the storytelling the dialog the writing the English dub. The characters Are done really well nothing is overdramatic like every action they do just fits so well David we're saying how the Lord and details weren't even part of the story A little 4th wall breaking every once in a while in the beginning but it's just done so well I don't even know if there's any enemy that comes close especially in the modern day. What happened to story writ's just gone down hill and I don't even know when it started going down hill. But this anime is like a masterpiece.

I like how you balanced this being a satire while still being tasteful about it. While the jokes kinda missed for me, the real review you added in the end made up for it. Man, does this anime have tons of problems with its story. Admittedly, I was interested to see a different kind of fantasy anime and stuck around for the story concept (and I have to admit, I did like the action here or there and the animation was generally alright). Honestly, had it been better executed and given 20 episodes instead of 12, it might've been pretty decent. As is, it's not the worst I've seen, but it's just "eh."

Yeah that anime was a big disappointment. The first few episodes were quite good (even if Kumi is a dumbass) but after that it just became a boring monster of the week type of show. I dropped it halfway through and considering whether I should go back to finish it, I'm glad I saw that vid before wasting my time.

It's already been 8 months since this anime aired?!! This anime looked like it needed like 5-6 seasons in order to be rightfully developped. the world, the races, the relation between the characters, the f**king intrigue with cat girl being a godess apparently. I mean this anime looked like he introduced a lot of things but couldn't even develope at least one of them. In 13 episodes it was freaking impossible.

13:54 I see Precure, Izzeta and Blue Drop. Precure is Toei's favorite child, it's one of the most long runing magical girl franchise, it's kinda sad that it gets more care put into it than Dragon Ball. I remember that Izzeta being really popular, fans were asking for a secuel and the director had to come out and say he wasn't interested in a secuel, personally I would like a continuation past that bitter sweet ending. As for Blue Drop, I think I'm one of the 5 people who have watched this movie, this movie is a precuel to the 3 short manga series,each one is set in different points during the invasion of the Arume, a female alien race. The plot is somewhat interesting but saddly it's overshadowed by the author's Yuri,gender-bender,Trap fetishes.

I stopped watching after the orc village. I looked at their terribly animated dancing and was done after the chief died. I think I forced myself into the next arc for one episode with the MC's father in law but there were so many plot holes, so many characters left behind. Yet another one of those animes that derps around for 8-9 episodes, trying to keep the main plot a secret, only to rush the end from the looks of it. They spend a good amount of the story "gathering the crew", only for the crew not to do much. Also, I think that princess looking knight and her attendent were in the show since episode one, but they did nothing with them. I wouldn't say its the worst anime, just another filler anime. Even though I quit it, I do give it points for NOT being an isekai, NOT using some game-like magic/skill system, NOT having stupid fanservice episodes and NOT having super OP power fantasy inserts. Pretty much all of the shows strengths are for the tropes that it didn't follow and not what it did itself.
