This is the BEST 3D Mario Game | Super Mario Sunshine

The title says it all - this video will run you through some reasons why Super Mario Sunshine is my personal favorite 3D Mario Game. Am I ashamed of being the way that I am? Not one bit.

Super Mario Sunshine is my favourite game for 4 reasons 1. It was my first video game ever and without it I wouldn’t be gaming right now 2.Fludd was such a great mechanic 3. I love how Mario could move 4. I love making my own stories in games and this game allows that so well

Sunshine was hated by many at launch for the same reason Wind Waker was. People were judging it by what it wasn't and not by what it was. I've loved it since day one :)

The world connection was pretty awesome. Also that they have managed so much variety and distinction with a certain topic. The music was perfect for every world. The boss fights were varied and fun. This game is probably the game with the best graphics of 2002. The only bad thing about the game was that it got rushed in the last two worlds. Otherwise everything was good, a 2nd part would be awesome

Completely agree with everything you said, the game is a gem and has aged so well in my opinion. And you’re right, it definitely feels like Corona Mountain could have been so much better - even as a kid I remember feeling a tiny bit let down by that being the last level.

I hated Sunshine as a kid because I got stuck in the first world where Petey flies around. Finally sat down to play it on 3D All-Stars and had a blast. Definitely agree Peach had a one night stand with Bowser to be Bowser Jr's mom. I'd say reviewing Advance Wars would be fun. My favorite franchise and the first two are coming out for the Switch in a few weeks.

Definitely, as a kid I saw Chuggaaconroys let's play of it and it made me ask for a GameCube that Christmas with the game (I also got a few others like Simpsons Hit And Run and Metroid Prime) and ever since it's been my favourite Mario game, Odyssey and 64 are brilliant too though!

Couldn't agree with you more on everything you said. Even after how much I ended up loving Odyssey (which is the one 3D Mario that comes super close) no other 3D Mario still doesn't ignite the same spark Sunshine does and has been my favorite for so many reasons beyond all the things you've mentioned. Even if I still noticed all of its flaws, hardly any of them diminish my love for the game and it still ranks amongst my favorite 3D platformers. It's also the best controlling and most open-world (not counting Bowser's Fury) 3D Mario has ever been hands down.

8:28 this Level is actully so Easy. There is a Tutorial on YT. I think you just need to press every Button right

I feel like whenever I replay this game that level is either easy OR impossible. No in between. I’ve had runs where I nail everything the first try, and others where I end up getting 6 game overs before I manage to beat it. Maybe that YT tutorial was all I ever needed.
