MidwestPhotowerks I've heard it before, it's sounds similar, just not as loud and less backfire. Although they clear out the majority of restriction. Headers are more of a performance aspect in my opinion, so if that's not a major desire VS sound, you'll still have a more engaging drive due to the exhaust note being less muffled. I own the 3.4L S, the 2.9 Base will sound EVEN BETTER with this exhaust, ultimately I'd advise to go with whichever the better deal is at the time - both great choices.

Mike here, and I was in the vehicle with our fine friend. This setup is amazing on the 987.1! Only a small hint of drone at an RPM where it would be greatly exacerbated on any other vehicle. We just had a 981 with PDK that received our Long Tube Street Headers and Valved Exhaust. This individual took off catless headers and a system from another manufacturer and was blown away by the difference - again, with no droning! Look for a video going up shortly of the car! I have a Fabspeed Supercup on my 986 and you get some drone out but you have to balance that out. Supercup is loud. My wife refuses to ride along now. Some men thinks that is great but it sucks. I love my exhaust just wish the wife did too lol. Headers coming soon. I was looking Soul before I got my supercup. They do sounds nice.
