FPV drones like this are almost FULL DJI drones with acro mode on them with the fly time and GPS. Wish I had this as a beginner. It's amazing. You could have eddited the "Take - Off" dji voice there. That would have just killed me 🤣🤣🤣 Very nice video again buddy 👍😎

in addition, im not sure if you know about the issue with dji fpv goggles and sun benign out the screen, so make sure you put them down antenna up.... not down. (so sunlight doesn't shine on lenses and possible damages your screens.)

just a note, the camera is going to be digital on a analogue system too, its the signal that is analogue or digital, thats the main difference between DJI FPV and fat shark etc... not the camera.

I'm not a FPV pilot BUT this one is very tempting. It's sort of a crossover drone as it has some of the key features that will make non-FPV flyers more comfortable flying it (clear digital signal, and GPS "RTH" and longish range ) and likely lure them into the FPV world. I had this discussion with a FPV pilot 2+ years ago...(why don't FPV companies add these smart features to their FPV drones to try and bridge the gap between camera drones and FPV drones) and it looks like this beginning to happen. This company is on to something...but the window may be narrow as it's only a matter of time before DJI wants a piece of this pie and starts offering "hybrid" ready to bind drones. My guess is that DJI will add some other value add features (e.g., electronically stabilized video, hover mode -- if you get into trouble the drone will just hover in place and maybe an automated one button land mode). So many people would consider FPV drones if the gap (features and learning curve weren't so big) and this type of drone might just bridge that gap. I'm jussayin....

I would like to see a competition where there's a set list of features such as digital video, RTH, and less than 250 g using the same battery specification. The goal would be flight time and distance. I think this product could be as popular as the concept of Kabab's toothpick. I'm not good at freestyle or racing but I would definitely like to be able to see things and go places but not have the government breath down my neck.

Well, I dont think this would be ok for complete beginners, unless you will get combo dji goggles and controller than it would probobly be only plug and play. I got one of them but Im using my taranis x9d with it and also had to buy crossfire because 2.4ghz is simply not enough for this quad. Also not to mention that you may have to do some minor set ups/adjustments on betaflight

In 2013 I was building drones with GPS..return to home....waypoints... whatever... with Ardupilot (APM). The original DJI Phantom 2012/2013 had return to home with GPS. The digital video is the bees knees and the only good new thing in drones for years.

Flywoo made a less than 250 gram quad so that everyone that buys it will follow the rules and would not have to register. But then they made it long range, which according to the faa, is illegal. Unless you have a spotter miles out...

I am fairly new to flying drones. Have a DJI Mavic Air 2 and a GoPro Karma. What are the benefits of using the Radiomaster TX 16S? Instead of the controllers that come with the drones. I'm not familiar with that radio but since it is a Taranis it should work with the XM+ receiver.

Get yourself a CETUS FPV kit. BETAFPV sells them and they come in different versions. The latest one is the CETUS X, but I'm not sure if that one has hit the market yet.

For ANALOG the signal from the DRONE would be very strong, so all you would need would be good FPV Goggles (analog) with good antennas and you could fly for miles.

On a DJI Remote you would assign the GPS to one of the 4 switches in BETAFLIGHT (watch my FPV FOR BEGINNERS SERIES episode #10). Air VISTA has no spot for a micro SD Card, so you record in your Goggles or you attach an Insta360 GO or other small camera.

Both are fine. If you like the 360 footage here, that is as good as it gets. Also, be aware that the 360 only records 5 min.

Great drone, just quite pricey and it seems you have to buy every thing separately, like the GPS module and the finder and then you still have to buy a controller. Would the Mavic mini not be a great alternative? I suppose it won't have the range.

hey, i'm seriously considering buying this one .. as its "ready to go" and i'n new to FPV ... you think it's a good bet to get it with the DJI controller (they offer it directly for about 1100US) (do you know if i can connect the DJI RC Googles to the system ? (i use the DJI RC for my Mavic)
