Who makes a one inch magsafe ball socket? Can’t find a one inch spigen and agree that a larger ball might prove more stable when tightened.

FYI, the new Rivians seem to ship without the cig lighter, so I bought the charge version without actually looking under the dash. There's nothing for me to plug in lol! Maybe I'll just cut the wire off the MagSafe mount...

Question, can you mirrior your ANDROID, if you have that kind of phone, to the Rivan screen? If not, can you connect your phone through blue tooth to the Rivian and play music from your phone through the car speakers?

Would be nice if you could show us the first person POV. It seems like the steering wheel would be obstructing the majority of the phone screen. How has your experience been with being able to clearly see the phone screen while you're in the driving position?

There are few options linked on the Riviparts page - the Riviparts piece uses a fairly standard 17mm ball so there are many different phone interface pieces you can use but I don’t have a specific recommendation

While this mount has great promise I just installed it and using a slightly different phone holder since I have a case. The bottom of the phone hits the shifter stock. Not a good solution for phones with cases.

Works totally fine for me even with a case - not sure how you managed to have it be so far out that it interferes with the shifter

Very informative video Branden I like when you can stay away from double stick tape.On phone mounts. Sometimes double sided tape and heat doesn't go together falls off. Also I've had issues with suction cups falling off .During temperature changes.

Me too. Some surfaces (like wood or leather/faux leather) aren’t great for adhesion or can react poorly to adhesive

That’s why I linked a non-powered version as well. No wires.
