The Model 1900 doesn't fire both shots at the same time, it fires one slug like a quarter of a second after the 1st, leading to insane recoil with the 2nd shot

Cause in real life there's a fraction of a second difference due to spring lengths of the triggers. Double shot is a must and love it. Those feels ya get with big kill streaks using it though are great.

I've been using the 1900 slug since it came out, and it's AMAZING. I can almost see the look of shock on peoples faces when I double-tap them at medium range, and if you can aim fast, you can drop people up close as fast as any shotgun.

A little extra info on sweeper variant - it not only changes pellets spread, but also increses number of pellets in each shot - from 15 to 22, at expense of lower maximum damage ( 7.4 per pellet instead of 8.4 ) and a lot on range. Very reliable up to 10m, compleate trash from around 12+m.

The model 10A Hunter is used a lot. But the Model 1900 Factory is Such a power house. And the double fire ability makes it a guarantied one hit kill at close range and a bit out towards medium range.

I don't use shotgun much but when I do, I love the new double barrel shotgun. I actually like having to road after just 2 shots. Makes me feel more alert and keeps me on my toes. I just find my reactions are better. Plus, I love getting a kill, ducking behind cover to reload and try finish dead buddies friends. Especially when you dive behind cover, start to reload and an enemy rushes me and I barley have enough time to finish him. Am I alone in growing up with single player games 80s/90s. Then stumbling on online multilayer, fell in love, then find it hard to go back to single player games? I wouldn't mind if it didn't bother me but it does. I miss going on crazy story driven adventures. I just don't get that single player game buzz anymore. Slight exception to the odd game, the last of us, horizon zero dawn. I still enjoy racing a lot, driveclub, dirt rally ect. Just can't get in to story action single player.

A fun way to use the 1900 Slug is to switch it over to the double fire mode and basically snipe with it. As long as you are accurate any hit will guarantee a kill on normal soldiers. Since both of the slugs hit where you aim you don't have to worry about the recoil messing up your follow up shot. A headshot with this is an insane amount of damage.

JEMedia not really. There is a slight delay between the first and the second shot. Of course, if you are skilled enough you can pull the two shot at once thing, but it's hard af and doesn't always work

Westie... the Hellfighter Trench gun is NOT purely cosmetic. I've addressed this MANY times before. The Hellfighter does MORE damage than the Backbored but it keeps the same advantages of the Backbored, it's got more damage than the Hunter but not as much as the Sweeper. The Hellfighter performs closer to the Hunter in terms of damage, but EVERY other aspect it is the same as the Backbored, which actually is not that bad at all. I really expected the Model 10A to make it #1 too, but I can understand why the M1900 made it. The double barrel has the same range/damage as Model 10A, the ability to just fire both barrels makes it a guaranteed kill on any single target within range. The drawback is obvious, 2 shots then reload. But it's not hard to play smart and use it to GREAT effectiveness. You'd think it wouldnt be able to hold a candle to some shotguns but it's extreme damage and extremely long range even with the Factory variant make it a force to be reckoned with.

With the TTK patch the Browning A5(12G Auto) is actually pretty sweet... Especially the Extended model. I dont know if that it's gotten better or if it was just unchanged. Either way, it's been pretty solid so far.

I actually don't understand how you've (or anyone for that matter) gotten a bunch of those kills. The amount of times I've been standing on top of a sniper and shoot him in the head with the 1897 or Model 10-A only to get like 43 damage and have to shoot again is unbelievable. Or the classic where I run into a room and theres a guy in the corner and my reticle is covering his whole body but my shot only does like 16 damage and obviously the guy is using the Automatico or Hellreigel. The only shotguns I've been okay with were the Sjogren and 1900 Slug.

Agreed. I'm not a fan of the Hellriegel and Model 10 because it's for noobs. But I strictly use shotguns on more bigger and open maps so that's it's fair play when I get a kill. You can actually do really good with a Shotgun on a map like Sinai, you just have to have good placement and movement when trying to run up to get closer to someone. You have to use the terrain as cover as you run up on someone to kill them. It's really fun.

Am I the only one that wants bots added to Battlefield 1?? Cause when the life spand of the game is over, and the servers aren't as populated anymore (espically dlc servers/maps). Than I would like for there to be bots to fill those empty slots, for private servers at least.. and dice can use the npc soilders from the campaign since they seem to have similar behaviors to player controlled soilders. (They could be used for objective game modes like operations, the npc soilders charge and defend objectives that you must capture or defend in the campaign) I just want to be able to play BF1 in the future and be able to enjoy all the content... 😅

William Landqvist well its gonna be hard look at cod the reason they haven bots is cus the map is simple and has a 3 lane loadout so there are only 3 lanes to walk and the bots i that game are still chickens without heads now imagin batllefield giant maps no lanes big open fields u can code pads for ai to follow well u can but that gets boring and we havent even talked about vehicles yet how hard its gonna be to make ai control tanks the only reason it works in campaign is because well small map I think this will be very unlikelly to be added in bf1 or even future titles

The best shotgun in the game in my opinion is the Sjögren inertial. Quick fire rate, with the capability of one shot kills. It also has 5 rounds, very comfortable iron sights and the lowest recoil in the shotgun class

The Trench gun isnt automatic. Its what you call "slam fire" shotguns. It continuously fires as long as you have the trigger held down and you continue to work the pump or untill all ammunition is spent from the tube.
