You shoot the chargers in the leg with the railgun, two hits will knock off their armor and then you can finish them with your regular weapons by continuing to shoot them in the leg. Not the head but the leg. And the mortar sentry is S tier, you just need to stay out of the way.

eh idk about S tier all around, but its absolutely S tier on those small defensive maps but on maps where you need to move around to complete objectives the mortar isn't that great and will likely kill your squad mates especially if its the bugs.

Mortar is phenomenal but you need to be careful with how to use it and making sure the rest of the team knows about it too. Its a great defensive tool, even when defending an objective to buy time. But yeah, you will murder your friends if they dont know about it lol.

Highly suggest u spend a bit more time playing the game before u start making educational content, you are just confusing new players with the wrong information. e.g. Railgun shots and where to aim, bringing 4 railguns its a massive overkill, Orbital lassar can be very good and very inconsistent depending on your map position and depending on your ship position, yes those matter, different sentries have their own usage, Yes mortar can team kill you but it can also clean up and hold an objective. Solid down vote, tacle a bit more the game and then educate. No hard feelings.

Turrets could definately use a bit of an hp buff. At least a dynamic hp increase based on difficulty.

for the loadout its better using nuke/laser, others orbital(up to you), regenator pack, and railgun. for the primary wpn u can use breaker in the page number 5. If u play with ur team, mortar would be worth it for defensive, do not use this when u destroy the egg mission.

and this build will help you to grinding the sample in helldivers difficulty, because ur generator pack really help u to protect from charger, liquid, bomb, and etc. Plus its better using light armor than medium/hard, just focus on ur stamina and other optional +2 for grenade/stims.

Ive played with a team and someone used ems mortar and i used regular mortar and it was amazing. The ems stunned the enemies and the mortar finished them off while they're stunned. It's especially good when waiting on extraction and youre trying to survive. Just remember to try not to let them get too close to you, if they do just RUNNNN lol

I personally prefer running shield gen backpack with grenade launcher for closing the bug holes with laser and the normal air strike. Yes the nuke is cool but I feel it’s to inconsistent. Just my opinion

You should make another one of these vids for automatons, the autocannon is a beast for those but oddly the 500kg bomb is so bad for automatons and their tanks. I once hit a tank with 4 500kg bombs and it was still alive. Oh yeah and you can bank the autocannon rounds off the vents of the robot factories and destroy them from far away or just nade the door when it opens.

Mortar Sentry is S tier. Yea you can die but it's all about timing. Set it out before approaching a large nest & GL the enemies. Run away & let the Mortar cook!

Like some have said here, having just one cracked guy on the rail gun ( to pop leg armor on all the chargers, so he can’t miss lol ) opens up the rest of the team for other, less versatile, more specialized hard hitters ( auto canon and arc thrower ). Arc thrower is really slept on, just one per team tops for sure, but it is a monster; IGNORES armor , unlimited ammo and chains to multiple enemies. Arc thrower guy also has to be one of your better players since he needs to be more aggressive ( at the front ) and good with space and positioning, since it can easily friendly fire if not careful. Like you mentioned standard mortars are meh on bugs but SS tier vs. robos. Similarly, while insane value vs. bugs, laser drones kind of fall of vs. robos. Instead shield variants and standard mortars tend to take their place for us. Oh yeah recently in the dusty desert maps with ultra low visibility ( im not talking about the mushroom fog, rather the map default dust fog ) -we’ve been playing with napalm and fire grenades to control the map a bit more ( fire has some kind of slowing effect vs. bugs at least ) since we can’t choose are engagement ranges as well over there.

well not everybody plays the same right? we like to spread out for the Diamonds for example and than we all need a tool to deal with the chargers fast, dont get me wrong I agree with what you say but I think it comes down to playstyle, I also dont wanna be screaming my teammates name every time I see a charger :D:D:D:D:D as for the arc thrower ill 100% give it a go! thanks!

@@Crazymrpipz not saying 4 rails is bad - it’s a great comfort pick ( and my favorite weapon tbh ). But when we wanna go fast and clean we optimize a bit more for the 4 man synergy, that’s all. 2 Rails works great as well for a 2-2 approach. Solo splitting up actually feels a little slower tho rather than going hard and fast in 2s , can’t be sure tho it’s just my feel when someone goes off by themselves for too long.

@@amadeozzeidan7704 Can’t be too sure, since I’m rarely the Arc thrower guy and usually we snipe the front leg to take down packs of chargers. Our arc thrower guy tho seems to be just fine soloing isolated chargers by himself once in a while ( difficulty 7-9 ). Added bonus is it can chain to other medium and small bugs close to the charger pestering you while kiting and dodging. Add a laser rover like mentioned in the video and you can easily solo isolated chargers whiteout having to care too much about the extra trash.

arc dps is way too low on higher difficulties plus having your team around in a swarm you will arc on them and instantly kill them arc is probably D tier

You should increase the difficulty asap, depending on what you unlock as far as stratagems. Even at low levels, you have options to deal with heavy armored enemies. That being said, you should spend a few hours farming the lower levels for the green samples👍

It is s tier when you play with randoms. 1 might crash, 1 might leave, some might even accidentally shoot you or won't have good enough stratagems to clear the chaos. The amount of helldive missions I clutched thanks to the shield is at least 20% of my games
