As George said, I ruled out the traditional brokers due to fees. I do, however, understand why you may use II.

Asos is expecting the challenging conditions to continue over the next 12 months, with sales likely to fall between 5pc and 15pc over the next year. However, it has forecast a return to growth in 2025, when earnings will return to pre-Covid levels.

ASOS - earnings today 1st Nov 2023 In the latest financial year, the company’s losses before tax ballooned to almost £300m, compared to £32m a year earlier. It has recently been racing to make its orders more profitable by cracking down on frequent returners of clothes and cutting back on discounts.

Thanks for posting Oz on a different topic can I congratulate you on the art work. It was taken at a time when Ali was training at the Miami Street gym. He was interviewed by a photo jurno who was looking for a scoop. Being ever the publicist, when the jurno asked Ali how he trained, he stated he trained underwater. Believing there was a story in it the jurno asked if he could take some photographs and Ali doned his shorts and started shadow boxing underwater in a hotel pool. The rest is history and now you have the iconic picture (taken in camera OZ as there was no CGI in the late 60s) All the best Andy

Asos has said it will mothball a key UK warehouse in a bid to cut costs across the business, as the troubled online retailer battles falling sales. In an announcement on Wednesday, Asos said it expects to save £20m a year by closing its site in Lichfield, Staffordshire, which comes less than a year after it shut three of its storage facilities.

HL is actually cheap if used properly; if you invest into U.K. stocks, investment trusts and ETFs using regular investing, you won’t pay any dealing fees and the most you will pay in account fees is £3.75 per month. You also no longer pay fees to automatically reinvest dividends.

I can understand if they're offering a Lifetime ISA, but I don't see why anyone would actively limit themselves to those offerings to keep fees down. That said, I see your point and for most people, HL could work fine.
