Sundial and astrolabe are absolutely perfect for a beauty and the beast mani! Belle’s iconic golden dress and the beast’s blue formal outfit… those colors and clepsydra also make me think of the Prague astronomical clock

Thank you for showing Atomic Clock next to We Are All Made Of Stars from PPU because I was so curious how similar they’d be. I’m surprised even the base colour and shimmer is dead on. Both are beautiful

I agree the Quartz is more plum. I have the Beaux Reve, so it’s good to know they’re similar. I think Hourglass would velvetize better with a u-shaped magnet. I finally got Mooncat’s Weeping Willow to show a velvet effect when it wouldn’t before, so the u-shape works on thicker formulas.

ohh yes the horseshoe magnets are super strong so would definitely give it a better effect! i haven’t grabbed one myself but its good to know, i’ll definitely mention that in future vids!

@@PolishedYogi I got by with a 10 lb one but my thumb just barely fits the opening. So, I usually paint first and then place my thumb in the magnet. I could never do the velvet effect quite right before.

Very cool concept indeed! I agree the shades really do represent what they’re supposed to tho. I really love your comparisons and just straight up telling us if something is a dupe or Atleast close enough if we can’t get a shade that was similar!

Love this collection. I’m all for all the blues! 😍💙 I would be interested to see how atomic clock compares to mooncats ghost ship! I have a feeling that one is a little darker but similar kind of vibes. Also quarts crystal reminded me of mooncats velvet rose!

Atomic clock IMMEDIATELY made me think of the This is a Storm Warning shade by mooncat. It's a magnetic too. I mean it probably isn't a 1:1 but it's very similar

This is a cool collection. I’ll have to wait. I have to many on my list from GLL that I want to order. Would this gold color make a good Christmas color with red or would you suggest something else? ohh what are you eyeing from GLL? and hmm i think this shade could work for Christmas paired with red, if you don’t want to do a traditional gold like Au! i think its nice and warm/cozy without being too fall like 3.14k. and you know that might be the only one i would wear haha! i guess i would just group these altogether as a winter release but that one is definitely versatile! and thank you soo much 🥰🫶🏼

@@PolishedYogi I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and getting the green & orange. I can’t remember names. There’s a few more. I’ll let you know what I end up with. May just be those two since I don’t have either color except an Essie orange I use for Halloween manis. I’ve already blown my low-buy and I want to try to get a few Cadillacquer polishes when they release. I bought the one they had in rewind and Wildflowers pretty brown.

This is a cool idea for a collection! Sundial, (I really like the idea of a Clepsydra) and Atomic Clock are the only two I like. That’s too bad. I love Starrily Aphrodite!! I have to look at that one. Thank you so much for your swatches-I know it is a lot but it helps so much and I sometimes find polish that I like better than the collection you are presenting.🩷
