I have a F-8+, I customized it. The company is extremely helpful. I had a problem with weighting on the head. They replaced the head, gave me the weights I needed to complete the build correctly. I installed Fujikura Pro Tour Spec 63. Same shaft that Cam Champ uses. I discussed some of the design faults with the company. The face is really underrated. The milling is very precise & forgiving. Shaping the bottom of the club & aligning the cg was something I discussed with them. When I strike my driver flush, the ball climbs & seems to stay in the air forever. These changes they made are exactly what I wanted to see. Good to hear a more positive review Rick than you had with the f-8+.

Top class 5* review. I really like the fact that in your reviews you talk about price Rick because it is a big factor when purchasing but all manufacturers have increased their price by 40% over the last 5 years that is too much and will kill the golf market in the next 5 to 10 years if it becomes too expensive for people to think they can take part. Looking forward to the Mizuno ST and GT 190 review.

I spent 2 hours dialling in this driver at a testing facility. To answer the 'negative' of you don't have a 'fade' setting to help golfers who draw the ball (me), while true there is no independent lie angle adjustment, you can, and I did and it works, fully open the face by reducing the loft on say the 10.5 Degree loft head to 9 degrees or the 9 Degree head to 7.5 Degrees and this 'open' face, which also slightly reduces the lie angle as a by-product, ABSOLUTELY works - and this is what I did. I took the 10.5 Head, set it up at 9 Degrees (non draw setting) and the ball flight in this setting is exactly the same as with a TS3 Head in the B1 (Flat) Sleeve Setting. Like Rick, I hit my highest ever ball speeds with this driver after dialling in this setup. I have never seen a ballspeed above 155, with my usual being 148-152. My last 3 drives were 155, 158, 157 - all averaged 272-274 carry at 2100'ish spin and rolled out to 300-301. The Cobra, TS3 & Ping 410 are all amazing drivers.

I exchanged it and went back to hit some balls, then I missed a few ones (I still have a lot of work to do to improve my consistency) and the plastic just over the face is already chipping away. While I have hit pretty well (for my standard), quite long and very straight, I fear the durability of that driver is weak... Great review, I have always done well with Cobra since F speed, currently have the BIO. On course camera work has improved leaps and bounds. Keep it up.👍

I have always been impressed with Cobra's drivers. They always find their way back in my bag despite my efforts to try new things.

Thanks Rick. Nice Review ! Just a note on comments on Fade settings, the 9.0 head of the F9 Speedback is 1° flatter lie angle and some changes to internal weighting (vs the 10.5 head) and should play with enough fade bias for most stronger players, especially with the weight in the front.

Love this driver, tested it out against the epic and the m5 and it won out I was worried about it being draw heavy since I normally hit with a draw with my old driver, but if anything I hit with a little fade now

That is it. Hit it very well. I want one. Was way better than TS2 or 3 for me. Hitting the PXG today. We will see how it performs.

Top review Rick. Love all the stats and details. I've had a couple of Cobra drivers in the past and always been impressed with them. This one looks like a great weapon.
