I live in a far right town and I'm the only one with a democratic primary sticker from that particular era. I will probably keep it on my car forever. I don't care what year it is. It really depends mainly on the candidate and what there politics and moral compass indicates. I just think trump and the republican party have done a lot of harm and it is in bad taste to represent any of those people.

It's _never_ been the norm for non-political channels to talk about politics, nothing has changed "these days." The reason the majority of KZbinrs choose not to discuss their political opinions is simply because they don't want to talk about it publicly, not because they're scared of losing views. Calling them immoral for that choice is just ridiculous. Their content has nothing to do with politics so they see no reason to bring it up when it's not going to change anyone's mind, it just opens themselves up to flood of vicious message and a comments section full of toxic arguments. Also, some people want their channel to be a safe space away from the stress of politics, or their content is kid friendly, or they simply don't care about politics. I'm very glad that there are places I can go where I can forget about all the shit happening in the world and not have to worry that it's going to be brought up.

I admire you so very much I really do. As a Mexican American woman living in the USA it’s heartbreaking for me to imagine his man back in the office. His comments about the Mexican people have made some of his supporters incredibly hateful towards us. For the first time in my life when he was in office, I was spit on by an actual human being. It was at an anti Trump protest/rally, people of all backgrounds came together to march across the downtown streets. We were met with supporters at some point and things popped off. I had a 2nd appt with a new hairdresser and after the first appt we had connected so well. This time, however, she went on a rant about how she can't believe anyone would vote for anyone but Trump (I'm from the US) and I tried to gently talk to her about it (she was getting animated and did have a scissors near my head😂) and said like "I understand you like *insert quality here* about him, but how, as a woman, do you overlook the sexism/sexual assault?" When I recommend your channel to friends -- something I do regularly -- I generally describe you as sweet, measured, and wholesome, even when covering or breaking down sometimes serious topics. I totally understand people without tattoo knowledge thinking it’s real (I probably would if I hadn’t seen so many fake face tattoo TikToks) but I don’t understand why people who think it’s real would post about it. Like, that’s clearly what she wants, she wants people to believe it’s a real tattoo and be outraged and make content. Something like this video, pointing out why it’s an obvious hoax isn’t necessarily the kind of attention she was hoping for. I think it’s really important to inform people about spotting hoaxes and rage bait.
