I had a question doesn’t the fondant flag slide down when the cake is at Room temperature? How do you tackle that

Nope! However, I use American Buttercream icing, which has high ratio shortening and butter. That icing holds its shape really well. Other icings may not hold up.

So do you make this flag after the rest of the cake is done? When you give it to the customer do you still have them refrigerate it and does it tend to crack with more refrigeration? Sorry for all the questions😂

No worries, I prefer to make the flag after the cake is stacked so I can put it on the cake right away. I made a flag before too far in advance and it cracked when I put it on the cake. If you put it on when it's still soft and pliable, it will conform to the cake and wont crack when you refrigerate it.

I want to join the Kake Academy "Cupcake" tier but I share Facebook with my husband and it's in his name (Kelly Fleetwood) will I still be able to join the private Facebook group? I ask because a few years ago I purchased a cake decorating book from a woman and with the purchase was supposed to be able to join her Facebook group but since my name was not on the Facebook account she would not let me join the group (sigh).
