This is such a fascinating story! This was likely was more successful of a scam than they initially thought it would be. It capitalized on the excitement and urgency to buy crypto and the lack of knowledge that many people have about it at just the right time. I believe Ruja was found guilty of some type of real estate fraud with her father in the past and also tried to start another crypto currency that was not successful before this one. I hope she is found one day!

THERE IS A LOT not MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO! 1. She earned Phd in International law & as far as I remember graduated Finances in Oxford. She worked for several month in the most prestigious London banks, just so she can brag about her high qualifications in the Financial Industry & gain the public + banks trust! 2. Being a Phd in International Law, she uses not only diplomatic passports & plastic surgery - she is known to be connected with crime wrings in Greece & other high profile BG criminals, who immigrated to escape the law. 3. No ordinary Bulgarians can afford to study in Oxford -her whole family had to have some old BG Government connections. 4. I seriously suspect she is a BG Gypsy (specially her brother). While most of Gypsies are very poor, they have their own elites. After the fall of the Communist regime, billions of National money disappeared from a this country. BG had NO National debt before 1991 & has more that 10 billion dollars National debt few years later. 5. According to the BG intelligent service the biggest Greek criminal was apprehended & said he personally killed Ruja Ignatova while trying to extort money from her (after she fled to Greece). I started seeing this money chain model activity from year 1990. Initially some are gained and then all getting collapsed because of not finding newer recruiters. In such activity, some manipulators are trying hard to become the top of the chain and grab money. I believe she was killed shortly after fleeing to Greece. She contacted a very big criminal there for protection & hiding, but he extorted her for money & in a disagreements he killed her (From the BG Intelligent service report around 4 month ago, but this could be also a faux). MLM is called pyramid scheme most often even when actual goods are sold, because unless you consume all, if you cannot sell the extra good you buy, you end up losing and only those on the top benefit. How would experienced people fall to this?

Chances are she may have been offed by her brother, Her brother made the 15$ billion disappear with her only to be collected by him at a later unknown date. The money is likely in an offshore account where no one can touch it, and Ruja 6 feet under and a perfect scapegoat for what the rest of the company and her brother had planned as a result. It all may have started off with good intentions but she did not take into account the greed of her board of directors and others as a result with her brother being the proponent of her downfall. Good old "Etu Brutae" if I ever saw one.

I'd turn her in without hesitation and then donate the bounty money to charity. She deserves to be in prison for her crimes and all of her assets should be seized. Scammers like her should be thrown in prison. I despise pyramid schemes and MLMs on principle. Unfortunately, MLMs probably won't be strictly banned in the US any time soon since they are currently able to lobby our government, which can - and probably does - prevent laws from being put into place to permanently put them out of business.
