Dude if everyone was like this and had a work ethic like Jr and his family, we wouldn't have a deficit like we do normal welfare programs with such high costs, the world would be such a amazing place plus we wouldn't be such a wasteful culture of "throw away" items, we would always reuse stuff as much as possible and repair everything we could instead of just throwing it away.

This is the example of ultimate recycling and repurposed materials. The ingenuity required to assemble this “machine” from scrap parts is a credit to this man’s intelligence and ability. The Ross family has good genes!

I am his dad's cousin. There are a whole bunch of Lumberts that were mechanically inclined. That is why some of the Michigan Lumberts work at GM or Stellantis. My Lumbert relatives developed a broom making machine over near Mt. Hope Kansas.

Here, in my county in Kentucky, the Amish have a ice cream machine that is powered by a horse on a treadmill! Just ice and salt around the drum. Works great! Tastes fantastic!

I love these old engine shows! Local engine show has a guy with a hit & miss powered ice cream maker that's been doing it nearly 60 years for the club. Such a cool thing for the kids and kids at heart!

I like the fact that the ice cream machine is like 99% recycled from the scrap pile. Too many people are too eager to throw away good stuff based solely on their own needs. If you cant use it give it to somebody like JR sr to use.

You are your father. Knowledge is so good to know. You can save so much money. Your dad is a wise man and when you get his age you will be the same. My brother is the same way. If any thing is wrong with my car I just tell him what it is doing and he tells me to check a part out and it will be fixed. He is very smart when it comes to repairing any thing and he is also great with electrical. It is something some people have is the willingness to learn things and how they work. That was an interesting video on how he built the ice cream machine. Thumb up...

There has to be an iron pile somewhere in the world which contains most of a decommissioned nuclear power plant which, with ingenuity, stick-to-it-tiveness, and a crucial part supplied by Larry Grant, could be converted by WatchJRGoSenior into a functioning hot dog cart. Seriously, I got a kick out of this video, and my dad, who was in the ice cream business, would have loved it.
