I love how you incorporate your family and close friends in your adventures. It is always nice when others tell people how things are made, and fix them up. Too many people now these days, just do not understand.. which is sad. I think younger people do really crave how things work and really want to learn.. but with technology at fingertips.. people are just conditioned to look online.. and only trust that is the answer. Absolutely love this history lesson, and can imagine how your family reunions are. HAHA

After running out of home-made ice cream at a Relay for Life event about 10 or so years ago, despite having six dashers going at the same time, a friend of mine named Ralph Hester came up with an idea. The next year he pulled up with two old fashioned wooden ice cream maker buckets that were 3x the regular size. Each had a big rotating container with a dasher. They were hooked to a custom made gear set that ran off the PTO drive of a John Deer Tractor. We made ice cream like bandits. The next year he pulled up with a trailer. This one had four big ice cream buckets and dashers and they were powered by a 350 Chevorlet motor and transmission mounted on the trailer. We never ran out of ice cream again.

Gidday, what your dad's machine needs is 1940's Dairy Queen graphics, showing servicemen and "Buy War Bonds", "Support the NRA", National Recovery Assoc". @watchjaredwork14875 жыл бұрын
Simi Steve we buy the mix from the place that makes the local DQ’s mix (Hiland Dairy). 20 years ago we would buy the actual DQ labeled mix but then DQ started making us pay royalties for the mix with their label on it so now instead we just buy Hilands mix which is basically exactly the same.
