Reminded me of an Alliance box opening I did 15 years ago. Cracked 20 packs, found 4 Force of Will, sold the rest of the packs to clients in the store and they opened in front of me other 6 Force of Will out of the remaining 25 packs. Sometimes randomness plays crazy tricks

I know the professor often says to "buy singles." With all these collectors box openings I've been seeing and knowing the value is going to be held more in the collectors cards vs the regular draft cards, I'm really starting to wonder if it is worth it to buy singles. At least, I'm considering it for new product vs old.

It’s still pretty clearly favored to go for singles, but if you like fancy looking cards that cost significantly more than the actual copy you can grab a bunch of those as singles too. These expeditions are significantly cheaper than the old ones and will retain value, so just buy the ones you want. You lose money most of the time when it comes to boxes. Out of the 10-15 or so I opened I profited on two. One was an eternal masters box that had one pack with vampiric tutor and foil jace in it, and the other was a ravnica allegiance box with foil krasis and another foil mythic on top of some shocks. Long story short, you are going to lose money, it’s just a debate of if you find the enjoyment of opening the packs worth the price difference

2:55 See Rudy. This set was exciting to open. The D&D set, Midnight Hunt, Crimson Vow, Kaldheim, there's hardly anything in there that gets people excited like this set and Strixhaven had in their collector boxes. This is why people are NOT buying the collector boxes like they (and myself) used to. The last few sets have sucked ass and as long as they continue to do so, there is legit no reason to buy/open collector boxes.
