12:35 Absolutely. It's probably the thing I like the most about the series; it's not afraid to show the uncomfortable truths of reality. It's something a lot of the people against this series detest but I'm on the other side of the fence. I adore it. It means we are ABLE to have discussions about the characters and their flaws to such a degree I could rabble off 20 things this series has shown in the first 2 seasons alone that mirror our society and our world and approaches them in a non joking manor yknow

15:25 Sylphie's actually a few months older than Rudeus. All of Rudeus' love interests are and have been older than him. As to her maturity, she's stepping into the role she'd resolved herself to have a year before. The scene when she was leading Ariel and Luke down an alleyway as a shortcut to a shop, she got to thinking how she'd be as a wife to Rudeus and was convinced he'd go for many wives. She resolved herself to be the mediator should he get at least three. But she's so much more than a mediator now that the time has come. She's the matriarch of the house.

Sylphie is the same age as Rudy. They were 16 when Rudy went to Begaritt. Now nearly 9 months later they might already be 17.

I fully agree with Sylphy's decision. The thing is, IRL when something bad happens the first thing people usually do is getting angry, cursing others or whatnot. Where in actuality it's useless. Bad thing already happened. You need to think how to make the most use of it. Rudy already cheated and already made his statement. At this point the best solution is to answer his appeal and put effort into making new family happy instead of destroying it with needless discord. I mean if you want a discord - you can always cause it. But if you want happy family - you have to live it through. tl;dr; Sylphy for the win Also it's kinda interesting to think what would have happened if Roxy was the 1st wife and Sylphy tried to being the 2nd.

That's right.... when Rudy visited the village that Roxy is from and spoke to her parents, we find out that she's already in her 40's.

18:48 yeah, Lucy is born at the end of volume 12, which is where the anime covers up to so far. Season 3 will start off on volume 13.

If Rudy considers Roxy as a Goddess, then Sylphie would be a greater form of existence. If she weren't one, Rudy's life would be in shambles after trying to introduce Roxy as a new wife. Sylphie > any other women from this moment onwards for most people. Though as a LN reader, I've come to not be biased since I know how the waifus had their own struggles. S3 being announced makes me look forward to reactors' jaw drops on that season. Sh*t made me recreate Jslutty's meme while reading certain scenes.
