@@akjaq545 your basing off emotions, the game regresses in multiple areas factually. If your rating off of fun factor yeah you might be valid, but a logical rating of 8/10 in terms of progression from DD Dark Arisen is insane at best. 6/10 it remains.

I made it to Battahl all sneaky like and a mean old griffin decided to attack but i scared that bastard bird away...but he CAME BACK for round two lol health at the same level but he escaped again this game is amazing and extremely fun

playing as a thief is best so far even tho sorcerer is broken af and melts grifins and chimeras but playing as thief is best when you climb huge enemies and use skill to rip them and do high damage

​@@kytwb4252Spearhand has a better version, the shield covers allies too. Though in many cases, these abilities are necessary. Light armor vocations can get staggered and knocked down so easily that it's basically a death sentence.

Alright bro it’s a good game but don’t overhype lol games too easy with a full squad of pawns but the moves and animations are sick in this game they go so well especially as the warrior class landing a nice timed Heavenward sunder or mountain breaker feels good. But anyways thinking of just not hiring pawns and doing only arisen and main pawn to make it a bit more challenging

oh you definitely should- dragon's dogma lends itself to so many good ways of doing challenge runs. Don't use anodyne- don't use menu healing- no support pawns- random pawns from forgotten rift crystals only- only main pawn- a fashion's dogma run. This game is so good at letting you find new ways to have fun and challenge yourself, it's why the original was one of my favorite games of all time- and i think 2 is incredible.

Im gonna be honest because I dont like when theres too much fanatism over a game; the game is cool, but its not all that. You literally simply do this exact same thing all the time with all the fights you have. Im not sure if you all have just played peanuts time, but the combat is incredibly stale and is not helped by the fact that it is also too easy. I killed dragons as easily and with the same tactics I kill an ogre. And I truly believe the class customization for your character stops way too early. Its cool if you want to play different classes, but if you wanted to build up one class its trash. Youre done by lvl 25, and thats done with 2 classes since you take your basic and then advanced. For you to see progress youd need to pick other classes to level and even with that, you finish around lvl 40 with them, and basically you dont even need to use them since you only get 6 augments to mix and match. This is something I hope they fix on the next one, its too little and too stale.

Way too short? I've played 50 hours, and only just officially got to Battahl (in terms of story). I went off and started exploring as soon as I got my main pawn. I found the first Sphinx location and then flew on her back into Battahl way before the story quests.
