@@Banzai713 I personally used F40 Sabre(premium), T-2, and 30mm Raiden. If you want to use only tech tree, I would choose Ki84/otsu or Kou

@@Banzai713 i had the best luck with the two sabers, the F-86F-30 and F-86F-40 as well as the F-104J, but it’s really up to your playstyle. If you like the T-2 you’ll probably like the F-1, but if you have no preference just use the plane that comes before the plane you’re currently grinding (ie use the Ki-200 to research the T-2 and the F-86F-30 to research the F-104J) for that sweet 10% rp bonus. Hope that helps :)

I got both the F1 and f104 but I'm grinding the F4 with the T2 because it just got aim9ps so it's absolutely cracked now at 9.7 it has great guns and op missiles the only real issue is the horrible energy retention when turning and in my experience pretty shit performance unless you're on the dexk

I suppose you could try to boom and zoom/avoid rear aspect locks but even then this thing seems really difficult. Reminds me of the premium harrier with sraams, once someone gets a missle shot on you you’re done.

I just finished playing this jet a few days ago (got the F-4EJ), and i really hated it before i spaded it, because compared to the T-2 which i've also played it's worse Tier for Tier, but once i spaded it i really came to love it. 4x9Ps are really nice, vulcan slaps and not having flares doesn't really matter if u use rocket pods, since they worked quite well for me.

It's *alright* spaded, the problem is there are a LOT of other jets at (and even below) your tier that can either do your job better or invalidate your missiles entirely with the press of a button... ...Not to mention, taking rocket "flares" GREATLY impacts your performance, losing you what little performance you have over quite a few other jets at-tier.

@@wehrmacht1337 that's a non issue, as a flareless plane clouds are your friends, they perturbate the IR seekers of all IR missiles in the game, and rockets aren't more useful ; and from my experience they do sometimes (when the game is in the mood) work quite well against all aspect missiles (without IRCCM) but are essentially useless against rear aspect missiles due to the fact that they're launched forward, hidden by the plane's heat signature.

@@misterthemad994 Yeah, but clouds only work to prevent the lock, once you get locked and get behind a cloud the missile will still follow thru and you will be smited, also rear aspect missiles are also flarable with rocket pods, tho it takes a bit of practice and can be iffy.

pink you dont actually need both in the folder to get the next one you just have to have one of the vehicles in the folder to be a ble to buy the f104

You don't have to get all vehicles in a folder to get the next plane. I can buy the 2nd Vautour in the folder and buy the Etendard. I can just buy the etendard and not have to buy all the vehicles in the folder. It just shows that you can buy the next vehicle in the folder

You actually don't need to fully research folders to get the next plane in line. That's what they're for. The red line is just a visual glitch, if you mouse over the next aircraft, it will say it only requires the first vehicle in the previous folder to be bought and researched, not the others. And actually, one odd thing, if you have the top foldered vehicle researched, but not the bottom one, you have to backstep and research the previos vehicle in order to kep going. You can even get locked out of a rank you have aircraft already unlocked in. The last folder update created some very interesting "bugs" indeed.

G'day pink, Huh at 10:37 in the T-2 mod screen it says camouflage in research next to the talisman yet at 10:41 for the F-1 there's no researchable colour scheme. What's the deal with that? I'm struggle to play stock F-1. I think the most effective way to get RP is to head on everyone, aim-9b is pretty much useless and as soon as you turn your pilot will stop breathing.

F-4EJ aint worth it. Your best IR missile is the Aim-9P which is kinda useless at 11.0 with how everyone has flares and much better manueverability than you. The radar is also pretty bad so the radar missiles are practically useless, and your radar missiles arent very good either

@@fyo2575 As far as japan goes, you don't really have any good premium jet options, unfortunatelly. The phantom is just a straight up worse F-4E, and the sabre is, well, a sabre at 9.0. With other nations, the F-5C is good, and the AV-8A is also. The G91R/4 and Sea hawk mk100 are great. The mig-21bis's are decent, but not unique at all. The Mig-21S and Yak-38 can work, but can take a lot of getting used to. The A-5C and J-7D are decent, and I've heard the J35XS is also alright. The 11.3 premiums are also all pretty decent aircraft, but currently sit at a rather unfortunate br, so not sure I'd reccomend them. And while it is technically not a premium (no rp/sl bonus), the Hunter F58 is incredible. Probably the best grinder for german rank 5-7 air.
