One time there was this woman who stayed in the store 45 MINUTES after close and like for whatever reason, we weren’t allowed to announce the store closing and stuff and everyone did their things around me while I had to WAIT for this lady to come to the register. And she was like “I hope I haven’t stayed too late,” and I was like, “oh we only closed 45 minutes ago,” and she simply said “oh my” and did not apologize for staying so late. It still makes me mad when people come in like 2 minutes before closing

I worked in the music and movie section of a book store and had a lot of customers like that. One time I kinda snapped on a couple that was on a date. They took out like 25 different cds after I had told them we close in 5 minutes and tried to hand them to me when the store was officially closed. I handed them right back and said “oh you still have time to put them away don’t worry” the guy was like “wait but I don’t know where they go” I told them both “ I will be happy to show you but I’m not staying late because you two made a mess” guy just split the stack and handed her half haha I really thought I was ganna get fired but I guess they were too embarrassed being shamed by a 16 year old lol

some tricks ive learned since i started playing. - when i reorganise my storage i order 1 of every item to make sure i have a spot for every item i stock and then i back fill from there - stuck npc’s will get fixed by a reload (just saw he fixed this) - i like to make everything in my store $.00 or $.50 (ex. $3.00 or $3.50) this makes giving change a lot easier - this ones not good for stream but i will let the stockers restock the store to the point they are standing out the front before i order anything in the morning. this usually takes a few minutes so ill go make myself a tea or something and then just scroll social media all the other times LOL. this way im not over ordering. i then fill the blanks in my stockroom shelves once they’re done - big items like bread, pasta, flour etc that only fit 2 boxes per slot need more than 1 slot on the storage shelf, so having them side by side is crucial. they are usually hot selling items too so if the stockers dont have a backlog to pull from you can lose shop points for not stocking the item - pay bills and loans AFTER restocking your store - if your items are too expensive, you don’t have something stocked or you short change someone you lose shop points and your shop level goes down

I also think it’s a good idea to stock more than one shelf’s worth of items in the store. Your stock people can’t keep up and you’re missing out on lots of sales. I also organized my stock room in the order that the items appear on the computer. All new items go to the next available shelf. Makes ordering sooo easy!

This is exactly what I do! Every night I help them stock, start the next day and fill my storage room with everything I need! I use 2 shelves for big products (sometimes 4 for bleach and tp) and one for smaller boxes cause you can stack more of them!

Easiest to have 2 places for each product so the stockers have time to restock if one runs out :) For products like toilet paper its best to use even more space. My goal is to have at least 2 boxes of each product placed in store.

I hope by the time I'm finished watching this, you changed your "mirrored organization" only 2/3 through but the easiest way for me was organization by fridge section, shelf, alcohol etc. I'm way farther in with more products but long term you'll have to constantly change the storage area if it's mirrored to match the store.

Best hack for this game is to round the market price up 25 cents. So if market price is $1.08- your product will be $1.25 on the shelf. I get no price complaints and if something like toilet paper is selling quickly then I’ll add another 25 cents to the price
