Zoe is a lot more than hitting your Q. A lot of her damage comes from her W (or summs) and passive (more sparkles). I also felt like he was getting too fancy with the bubble. She's fun with Ludens and Lich.

During the coaching I felt there were a few bad calls but the vod review made it pretty clear he shoulda been ahead before those calls on the level 2/3. The client didn’t say it but I think the Q he threw into the weeds was nerves, but the second one showed he wanted to poke Ahri instead of get his level up, which is less reliable obviously. Good points made.

@@guggh5798 when they were both very low it became a game of who will outplay the other, almost a coinflip/guessing game. Neace's point was he could have had the advantage for the lvl 2 and the lvl 3 spike if he were able to get it before ahri did.

It’s an add on, I’d advise against, they can effect your game negatively and also mask some info by being incorrect I’m praying rito bans the new add on that tracks enemy summoners, it’s basically cheating at that point and making lol like Warcraft pvp where addons are mandatory to play

As main Zoe I can notice some things that may improve any Zoe player. 1. If the enemy champ is behind the 3 back minons, throw your Q in an angle behind you that can hit all 3 at the same time and if you can also try to time it to also hit the enemy champ the the area damage and then you can poke it better with the same tech. 2. Always take advantage of the max range of your Q but do not over expose, you can wall back, throw the Q and start moving forward to land it while moving left,right/foward. 3. Try to burn heals, ignites, flashes early on but when you are level 3 to get a easy kill with them. 4. If you are level 1 you can poke champs using Q/Auto/Q/Auto in that way you maximize your damage using the potencied auto 5. You can to a trick with the E and R, try to throw your E while Zoe is going back to the portal, in that way the E will be summoned from the back position of your R but will move as if you threw it from the from portal for your R, this can be really usefull to burn a flash, ability and land those E 6. When you are alone in lane and want to take plates quicker, you can the Q/Auto/Q/Auto too. 7. You can maximize the Q Range if you picked up a summoner like flash, hexbelt or another using Q/R/Q/W. 8. You can make your E bounce using the R. 9. You can switch the W spell by clicking right in the new spell you want to pick 9. Experiment with the champ, using walls, max ranged Q, with your R, go crazy! And more, I'm from LAN and you can add me if you like, I was #200 in LAN with Zoe. Nick: Żoe

Akali aint that big of a problem, kata is manageable, zed is a real counter together with the wind rapper brothers. You can outlane kata and force her to permaroam cause she only gets poked in lane. Zed just facerolls you under tower and goes home to cash in.

Coming from an Irelia Main here, I agree , still I rather have a diff champ in pool just to not Bank on Zoe for most mids. Can get away from Veigar Cage thou + Jarvan Ult. Still with a fed assasin or Fiora or kayle late game Zoe a bit iffy to me for mid lane. One of those in between champs like lee sin that can scale hard or fall off harder as seen in video with early game conditions determine the fate. One thing i learned bout neace Farm Hard, Go in for Kill wen out leveled & take lead advantage wen Fed. Early game forget towers cuz u do no dmg and its like throwin marshmallows at the dam tower pre lvl 6

This guy is really bad at zoe, he could have oneshot ahri at level 2 cause thats where Zoe spikes hard in Lane. The matchup is super easy but this guy is playing Zoe wrong. He should have been baiting her to bite bubbles and save his Q and R for super big combos from max range to send her home. This guy was wasting abilities most of the time. He could have been playing from behind the river walls or in the bushes from where he could have chunked ahri constantly and push the wave at the same time He didnt do E>Q>Q>R combo at all which would give him insane nuke/poke and always return him back to safety. Dunno... This was just painful to watch.

Reason being because for Zoe she feels that at least 4x as much as any other champ, as her Specialty being as extremely good as it is requires an equally strong drawback and that drawback is in the sheer requirement of landing good skillshots. Which has about 5 different things affecting the quality instead of the 2 or 3 youd expect due to relying on a single skill shot for most of her performance and not multiple like any other mage. That is the tldr but for in depth read on: Meaning how it makes the enemy think and behave and what your team is doing has noteworthy impact which normally is minor for mages but performance defining for Zoe, and the impact of all three goes from "can lead the game in certain directions" early game to "the game can be won or lost almost instantly based off a single fight" later and so an increase that severe in the affect of a universal factor that is magnified multiple times over for Zoe specifically means her late is coinflippy as hell and most of what makes a good performance for her is reliant on how both teams perform and behave several times more than most mages, meaning you need to predict each of those things simultaneously and not just "how will i land this skill shot?" Her performance is felt not in How she lands her abilities but felt with how an entire fight progresses and the When you land your abilities, and 90% of how a fight progresses is not under manual control. Hence the reliance on predicting what everyone else does as you cant land good skillshots without proper timing first and foremost. This Timing requirement being so unusually game defining for Zoe is where her hidden difficulty lies, as you cant tell how good you perform without looking at the entire fight and how it plays out each time; you need to learn what to do to make certain reactions happen to make a fight work in your favor above all else to be consistent on Zoe, not specific sequences of actions to kill someone effectively first and the timing later like with other mages. One could argue you need the micro equally as important as timing on Zoe but lets be frank its much easier to decide the direction on where to shoot Zoe skillshots than to combo properly on other mages, so as her micro is less taxing to learn i personally expect you to have everything except mastery of her W down pat before finishing 20 Zoe games anyway, and after learning that youll realize incredibly quickly after if you hadnt already just how important the question "When?" Is to playing Zoe.
