I don't really know about that. Fans were upset that the game wasn't Marvel, and putting it on other platforms wouldn't have made a difference. Capcom was apparently happy with the game's sales though, so it at least found a (different) audience.

@@doge-pal I have to agree with you. Although I had a Wii, I did not touch this game until Dolphin. It did not really appeal to me but when I got my PC and got Dolphin, I gave this a go and I really love it. If Switch were to release this, it would sell quite a bit now imo (if it has great netcode)

It's criminal that this game hasn't been ported to the Nintendo Switch or the newer systems in 10 years. The only reason I can think of why it hasn't is maybe it has to do with licensing agreements with the Tatsunoko characters.

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars probably didn't get much attention since it ended up a Wii exclusive. Has it really been that long since it came out? December 2008? We need this to get a PS5, XSX, and Switch remaster release along with a MvC collection and CvS collection.

I'm always wishing they bring this to the current consoles. I still have the game and the slick fight stick that I got specifically for the game. TvC is my favorite fighting game and a current version would just be incredible.

A remake would be great, it llooked good on the wii for what it was, imagine on PS5 and Xbox Series. PC and Switch would be welcome too. Too bad license for this particular game must be the nightmarish nightmare to handle.

@@WhiteZelda for sure. Given how tight the license holders are holding on to their character rights, I don't think it's ever going to happen. MvCI is the perfect example of what getting hamstrung can do to your game. Even the mvc2 movement the fgc is jumping on will probably stall out pretty quick. But here's to hoping bro 👍

Bursts should take 3-4 bars or at least all available meter at 2+ bars, given how easy it is to build 2 bars and how you can also combo off of them and stock them. The fact these two were able to double burst so often and destroy momentum was driving me insane lol.

Funny you say that... when first released, Zero is almost the same character he was in TvC. He got patched into the character he was in UMvC3, and the character before that patch as more of a pain with none of TvC safe guards (like crossup protection, the "burst" and so on) to contend with. Truly evil stuff.

It's honestly pretty good even with the combo cheese. Requires meter management, you still lose life but gives you red life to set up baroque, can be blocked. Plenty applications and potential counter play. Certainly beats games without combo breakers

it's just a guilty gear burst. it adds a ton to the game. you actually have to think during combos instead of auto-piloting

My only issue with mega crash is that I wish it was worth 3 bars instead of 2 bars so we don't have see it as often so the offensive player can get rewarded just a little more imo.
