I know you love toptier, but having played since 1.27 and spent YEARS in props and early jets, I still have a personal fun cap of 10.3 (Draken, A-5C, F-5C maybe one days? etcetc) ... weapon employment technology (HMD) has gotten so easy at high tier that the challenge becomes not dying, and killing before your teammates, instead of how well you employ your aircraft and guns. At least, that's how it seems. I say that - I would be completely unable to get kills and have fun at top tier, so not saying it's 'EZ'. But the game has completely changed when you're at top top tier. I think I will forever most enjoy watching people play this tier for the modern plane p**n and forever most enjoy *playing* the last dogfighters.

Having a blast in my gripen, with the hmd it makes locking people a breeze. Small heat signature, small jet - can just evade missiles at ease. Aim9m's are fantastic! On thay volcano map i just go right and head on.. 3-5 kills every game 😅

Rember they will run out of missles if they are that nuts so you just have to doge them. All which is easier then just one at a time because missles are dumb ande if you douge 1 you can doge the next 5 if right behind each other.

Even after the nerfs this plane is just a perfect example of dogshit game design. There is nothing interesting about a plane just rotating around its own axis in the middle of a furball untouched because the idiots gave it 720 counter measures to spam out. if you want to make a plane thats exempt from the missile meta thats fine but then also give it a shit missile loadout itself. But hey the neuron activation monkeys like getting free HMD kills such great design.

They have added all aircraft that started with AMRAAM now with the exception of the Eurofighter (which also had onboard jammer)... of which would of been too early to introduce (it would of stomped). But since a bunch of European nations only got filler aircraft and they are struggling for top tier BR's... Eurofighter is likely also next patch.
