I've flown the Gripen and landed with no wings after breaking them in a rudder roll. The entire lifting body was gone even more so than the video and all I had was tailplane/rudder, canards and my ailerons (which were attached to nothing) Was even able to take off without the wings. Seems all you really need for the flight computer to keep you stable is the aforementioned flight surfaces as seen in the video. Apparently SAAB invented the first wingless fighter jet

Got to love these Gajin flight models! There is no universe where that Gripen, grippy as it may be, remains airborne with NO WINGS. And then you just skim the ground at 300 km like nothing. Reminds me of the good old days of dead Sabres flying around as if they didn't even take damage. Still makes for funny moments though, would have been funny to see you land that thing :)

The people at vympell must have Ben on adrenal designing the r77 adder because it’s the worst amraam clone. At least the pl12 added a neat lil thrust vector thingy at the back but no let’s add a piece of a fence to the back of it making it bleed its speed faster than a pre patch magic missile along with a seeker that makes Shrek look attractive

Its not the gun, ive noticed after mamy dogfights against the F-15's, Flnaker's and gripen's specifically, they are able to just tank bullets, even missiles, flown the f15 into a sim, i got hit by an aim120 and i tanked it, managed to still fly home, the Eagles, Flnakers and gripen's damage model needs a nerf or change, hell not even the 29 or 16 tanks that much.

I'm gonna be honest sweden really only has gripens but they are really easy to get because of the existence of muh dorito (j35xs), Britain is kind of similar but up until recently had dogshit prems to grind with *glares at f4jUK* Italy has a better range of topteirs (f16a and gripen) however Italy is just pure pain to play even with the f104TAS just because it gets upteired all the time and is well an upgraded f104. If you want my opinion go for sweden just because there are a couple hidden gems in the techtree and it's honestly the least painful.

I was also thinking about getting the 23ML to help with the tiers 7 and 8 but it is very debatable if it's worth getting. Mirage also got on my radar but not sure if late tier French tree is even worth going for.
