My last game was as Duch to.. but I did go colonial just to maximize trade, never expanded beyond the Netherlands region plus Cale in Europe, but has 1100+ something income just from trade by 1600. Best thing to do way get Ivory coast, South Africa, Malacca and win.

I literally started the same campaign yesterday and I saw this video just now. tbf I prefer to get alliances so strong that Burgundy just breaks their union over me (prioretising Austria, because no unlawful territory if you are besties) - this saves me huge amounts of stability, manpower and gold I'd normally spend of war, time - I can right away start claiming stuff and waging wars. I ate some minor states in the English Channel, then around 1460 I attacked weakened Burgundy (before the event puts it under union with France/Austria, so I get the Netherland-required provinces). That's all for now, but I do expect nice gameplay from this run.

Polish population must have some strange overlap of EU4 interest and English Speaking ability. USA ( the largest global English speaking audience) , UK ( home audience ) and Canada (very small number of local Canadian KZbin creators & also English speaking ) I understand why they are all in the top 5. Germany & Poland must both have a fairly size-able population for viewership and a number of them speak English fluently enough to enjoy English content, or they can't get enough in German/Polish?
