Now, you know me. I really dislike playing tall... but there's something I really enjoy about forming Netherlands through playing tall! EU4 playing tall is not something that's often done on this channel, but today we try to maximise our trade income through dutch ideas... without a dutch revolt! We take out EU4 burgundy and ignore the burgundian inheritance as well as backing the EU4 France!

I played the old vic 2 for hunderds of hours and was looking forward to it, but honestly vic 3 seems a bit underwhelming and different than I thought it would be. Its mainly an economy and poltics simulator. I just hope its not going to flop like imperator.

0:45: Laith, if your overlord cancels a personal union with you because you have too many countries supporting your independence, you have until the end of the month to shoot those countries an alliance. They will still have Support Independence slot taken til then and since you have one of their relationship slots, it's easy to get an alliance (or at least royal marriage).

An interesting strat you might consider is playing as holland or smth like that and using the fact that ais break pus and then royal marrying burgundy and trying to get the burgundian inheritance

i have more than once seen brabant get the burgundian inheritance as part of normal gameplay where i'm in no way involved. if the AI can do it surely the player can.

I literally started the same campaign yesterday and I saw this video just now. tbf I prefer to get alliances so strong that Burgundy just breaks their union over me (prioretising Austria, because no unlawful territory if you are besties) - this saves me huge amounts of stability, manpower and gold I'd normally spend of war, time - I can right away start claiming stuff and waging wars. I ate some minor states in the English Channel, then around 1460 I attacked weakened Burgundy (before the event puts it under union with France/Austria, so I get the Netherland-required provinces). That's all for now, but I do expect nice gameplay from this run.

Polish population must have some strange overlap of EU4 interest and English Speaking ability. USA ( the largest global English speaking audience) , UK ( home audience ) and Canada (very small number of local Canadian KZbin creators & also English speaking ) I understand why they are all in the top 5. Germany & Poland must both have a fairly size-able population for viewership and a number of them speak English fluently enough to enjoy English content, or they can't get enough in German/Polish? Still I assume there must be some Polish and German content creators for Paradox games. but then even some Polish content creators primarily cast in English....
