I think I see what you're trying to say with this passage. A lot of people have tried to use it to suggest we shouldn't strive to always become more wise, more decent, etc., because we'll suffer unnecessarily. But I have to wonder if this philosophy actually worked for Solomon. He let his guard down, and ended up fighting God, let alone no longer fearing Him. Literally the opposite of his own definition of wisdom. And in 2023, with so little decency or wisdom left, I really have to wonder how selfish such a philosophy is. If no one is around to demonstrate what these qualities look like, how are people supposed to know the difference? Or know their benefits without trial and error? That's an expensive way to learn. I still respect Solomon. But I'll always lend credence to the person I would prefer to be like. I aspire to be like Christ. Solomon's end scares me. Christ said to listen to Pharisees but not do as they do. So that's what I'll try to do. And Solomon didn't even realize he became like a Pharisee. Scripture is there for us to learn from for our selves. But I'd rather always know that I know nothing, and keep trying to do better, than do the opposite. But that's just my choice for my life and soul based on my priorities. Everyone is free to choose differently, and live with the consequences. Thanks for reading. Good things happen to bad people, because their path in eternity only holds anguish and agony. So to balance it out, those who will live in eternal happiness will be tested much and have a hard life. Which prepares them to have an easy life for the rest of eternity. As vice versa, a man who is only gonna be evil for as long as he lives, is given the chance to experience good things, before he only experiences bad for the rest of his life. But this should not be a way to analyze if someone is righteous or wicked, because God blesses people for many other reasons, good and bad.

I’ve always had to work harder than a lot of people at alot of things I’ve always been faced with a lot and I don’t know anyone else that has went through half of what I have I mean every single person has problems n goes through things but maybe one really big thing or two each along the way but everything i have one thing after another I mean I could probably write a book and after studying the Bible I’ve learned some things and I look at everything differently now but I used to think i was being punished for the things I’ve done in the past after awhile I mean heartbreaking situations i remember thinking God can you take it easy on me i know i deserved to be punished but i think i paid for things which i was very wrong no one can ever make up for their sins we need God to forgive us for them after we repent but now I learned it’s familiar spirits unclean spirits that have legal rights to you from you committing unresolved sin or from generational curses I wish i would have learned everything i know now when I was younger

He was speaking to His disciples when He said this, the few who left everything behind to follow Him, who were commissioned to build His Church under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, and who literally gave their lives to carry out that commission. @@Nembahe Doesn't sound like it. There are a lot of false teachers out there who focus more on the world than The Kingdom. The key(s) to understanding scripture is to let the Holy Spirit be your teacher... faith, wisdom, and patience, etc. Take everything else with a grain of salt, including KZbin videos. "Works... and greater works" [John 14:12]: God told Moses to lift his hand and rod and divide the sea [Exo 14]. (Should we apply that command to every believer?) Moses lifted his hand and the Lord caused the sea to go. That was a great work. As part of God's parable of spirituality written in the history of these people, Moses died before he ever stepped foot into the promised land. Then Moses met with the Lord, Jesus (Yashua), on a mountain in the promised land [Matt 17]. That was an even greater work. God's plan and promises are eternal. I would say in scripture He is typically speaking more of spiritual, eternal things using worldly things only as a foreshadowing illustration. But take that with a grain of salt too.
