Since I have made videos, I appreciate all the work you put into making your videos, Eli. You have to carry your filming equipment in addition to your backpack. I don't use a drone, but that makes it even more difficult--but those drone shots are gorgeous. Please be careful! I know you can concentrate so hard on getting some nice shots that you might overlook that you can slip and fall.

I've been fascinated by Russia for a long time now. Read a lot of Russian literature, enjoyed the music, the paintings and dreamt about one day visiting your beautiful and authentic country. The last few years I've been planning a trip, but due to personal circumstances and then Covid, it had to be postponed. At this moment I'm in the process of obtaining a visum for the Russian Federation. Fingers crossed! If I was not already in love with your country, I would have been after looking at already a lot of your videos, Eli. You have an absolute talent in making movies that capture one's heart, and you also took a little bit of mine :) With best regards, from the Netherlands, Pauline.

In the UK, Australia (and probably Europe) that is how they pronounce the word, "Giezer," in the US and North America, we're the ones that pronounce it differently... so more than likely we're the ones that are wrong (or are in the minority on how it is pronounced).😉 Good day!

I agree with most of your comment, but Russia is NOT blessed with it's own people who invaded independent Ukraine and are destroying one city after another city losing so far over 110000 soldiers! Russian people are also behind starting World War II in 1939. Stalin made agreement with Hitler to attack Poland in 1939 from West and East. This is known as Ribbentrop-Molotov agreement signed on August 23rd 1939 in Moscow in front of genocide Stalin. Germany attacked Poland from West on Sept. 1st and Soviet Union (Today's Russia) attacked Poland from the East on Sept. 17, 1939. Did you know those HISTORICAL FACTS?

Thank you for such a nice video. When I was growing up back in the 50's & 60's in Seattle, I often wondered what was on the "other side of the pond" over in Siberia. I ended up going to sea for a living. Fast forward into the 90's and I was on an American cargo ship sailing from Yokohamma to Tacoma when one of our crew had a medical emergency and we had to pull into Petropavlask to seek medical help for him. Whoopee, I was finally, after all those years, going to actually go there. We pulled into the harbor, and guess what? It was so foggy that we couldn't even see the bow of our own ship!!! What's the moral of this story? Well.........I've actually been there, but I haven't seen it! ha ha

I have to say, I love your pronunciations. The way you say geysers, sounds like geezers in English. Some call old people "geezers" in the US, kind of a derogatory word for them. When you said valley of the geezers, it made me smile. I pictured in my head a valley full of old people. I do not mean to make fun, it's all in good humor. You should hear my Russian pronunciation!

Eli, you open Russia to up to us in the West that both makes me happy and sad at the same time. Never should our countries be enemies or at odds. The Russian culture is so vast and unique that to not appreciate it would be a travesty. Thank for helping us see through your eyes the beauty that is ancient and to be treasured... Russia.

Kamchatka is not Russia. It is occupied land. This video is Kremlin propaganda and the hostess works for Prigozhin.

There will come a day when Democratic Europeans will stand in the rubble of Moscow and Petrograd. On that day, Europe will finally be free.

That was very good indeed. Looked cold though. That bloke with no shoes I think his head was as numb as his feet. Judging by your shoes you get to take some of Kamchatka home with you. My country doesn't do Volcanoes, but we are surrounded by them in New Zealand, New Guinea, and Indonesia. I like hot spring areas and even foul-smelling volcanoes.

I’m surprised that you don’t have a syndicated television show on a major channel. You have a big time look and sound. You’re very pretty to look at, and your voice is wonderful! You come across as very intelligent but still really nice and approachable. I wish you the best of luck, and I’ll be cheering for you!

That's very true but Russia is run by criminals who love to invade and control other countries/nations. Looks like today's Russia lives in XVIII century.......time to change government
