Never heard of it...but there are probably hundreds of unexplored ruins and archaeological/geological features in Russia that no one has ever heard of! The west has been blocked and obstructed by our own governments so thanks to you for opening our eyes to the wonders of your country. I gain a deeper understanding and respect for Russia and her people ever day. You left a piece of yourself upon the monument, so the monument shall grant your wish!

It was the West that created the iron curtain, as the capitalists were afraid that their slaves would see that there is a country where you can live freely and without exploiters The term "Iron Curtain" was used in a propaganda sense by Clemenceau (1919), Goebbels (1945) and Churchill on 5 March 1946 in his Fulton speech. As for the isolation of the Soviet state, it began as early as 1917-1920.

Eli, another fantastic adventure in your beautiful country of Russia. Your interactions with fellow travelers is quite interesting as your group seemed to bond together very quickly despite language and cultural differences. Eli, I think you are an incredible young woman, just a good person, and a goodwill ambassador for your people and their cultures. You are certainly wise far beyond your years and your parents deserve so much credit for raising such an incredible young woman. I look forward to your next adventure, ‘till then, take care.

This may be your best vlog yet. The story, friends you traveled with, the beauty of the wilderness, and the effort required to get to Man Pupu Ner. With all due respect, I have to disagree a little with Fabrizio: There are places on this planet so special that people should have to work to experience them. Otherwise, it becomes a wonder with wax museums, 5-star hotels, and graffiti. If you are forced to work for something you tend to respect it and treat it appropriately.

Incredible Eli! What an adventure. What a place. Spellbinding, the stuff of myths and legends. Absolutely arresting. I can see why it is considered sacred. If it was so captivating in your film, I can only imagine how it must have been for you and your team to experience the mystique in person. I am surprised that the trail does not get buried in snow and becomes hard to discern. Alexy is one really hardy man. That guy from Ministry of Natural Resources, was quite funny. Lol! Never knew about such a place, thanks for introducing it to us. We have the Himalayas, here in India, which are a phenomenon in themselves, but the far north of Russia is another mystical place. Lake Baikal also was very impressive. Do include more local folklore, myths, legends of these mystical places you visit, would be enchanting to hear about them, along with the history and culture of that place. A few years ago I went in search of a very remote ancient site in the deserts of Southern California, all by myself, called "Inscription Canyon", which was a settlement of Native Americans along side a river that used to flow there around 10,000 - 15,000 years ago, which is filled with petroglyphs and rock art. It was a magical moment to be in the presence of a message from another human being from so long ago. It is so remote that hardly anyone visits. I found a pair of ear-phones there. Maybe some future explorer will find your drone, likewise, like a time capsule. It's like leaving our footsteps in the sands of time.

Hello Eli! I came across your channel just a few weeks ago - and I am fascinated by your presentations. This one, in my opinion, is the best one I have seen so far. To answer your question: Yes, I have heard of Man Pupu Ner before. It was presented in a German Documentary on Russian Nature some 10 years ago. I saw it in cinema and even got the DVD. To be honest, I did not remember the name, but I remembered those unique rock formations. And, believe it or not, just yesterday an American Geology Channel posted a Video about this unique place. Happy to get so much "condensed" information! Excellent footage and presentation. Thank you for sharing! Greetings and best wishes from an Austrian living in Southern Germany 👋 PS: Congratulations on your perfect knowledge of Italian! Wish I could speak it as well as you...😔

Comunque i miei connazionali si sono comportati molto bene, sono simpaticicissimi e anche in luoghi così remoti e difficili come questo non dimenticano di portarsi del buon cibo italiano come il Parmigiano. This is so timely! A few months ago, I first came across photos of Man Pupu Ner totally by chance and found it quite intriguing. It's almost impossible not to find something anthropomorphic about the rock formations - in winter especially they almost appear to be giant people bundled up against the cold, standing in stillness and silence as they observe the frozen world around them. What might they be thinking? I encourage everyone watching this video to do an internet search for more images, as this really is one of our world's extraordinary natural wonders. The other big impression I get from this video is your spirit of adventure and your physical toughness. That shot you showed at 16:59 without comment really brought home the ordeal you had to endure on this journey - you're a very tough girl, Eli! Thank you so much for sharing with us your adventure here, and may your wish come true!

@@salad7776 Shut up all right this have nothing to do with local people and u people had your mouths shut when israel attacked Palestine or what is happening in Syria or Yemen just cause they are Muslims and now u suddenly wake up and blaming whole nation for actions of government

@@maryamiman1481 so... is the Russian government alone operating on the territory of Ukraine? are there tens of thousands of people in the Russian government?

@@salad7776 First tell me why u did not care when it was Muslims or why u people did not ban Israel or America for their war crimes why they are considered greatest countries despite what they are doing if u are aware then don't be biased and also consider those countries bad and again what their government is doing or soliders i condemn it but i cannot hate a whole nation for actions of fews i don't have any problem with people from Israel cause they have not done anything but the government should be held accountable like u people did with Russia wake up if u people are supporting them also look around what wars have been happening for years but no one cared

Thanks for showing us such a magical place Eli, i would love to visit it one day. I had never heard of it before so I must say thankyou for introducing me to it. The environment there is so different from where I live in Australia, we think -3C is cold and get excited if we see a few mm of snow every couple of years :) Thankyou for reminding us that good and kind people exist everywhere. I hope the terrible problems the world is facing can be resolved soon and seeing people like you working so hard at increasing understanding gives me confidence they will be, at least some of them :)

Wow, what an adventurous life, Elina! You are amazing! A few videos ago you mentioned the loss of your filming drone and I and my 13yo son had a lot of fun trying to imagine what could have concretely happened to it... now we finally know! My son was the one going closer to the right answer, by mentioning the wind. Thanks for the good vibes that you're spreading all over the world!
