I also noticed they’d make use of his passing abilities by sitting him up at the top of the key in a similar manner to jokic and then having him dime up cutters and poppers with the threat of his his driving or midrange shooting like some sort of passing center / wing hybrid. The amount of offensive possibilities that Chet unlocks on this team is truly terrifying.

@@HoopVenue The dribble handoffs are great too because him rolling yo the basket is a really dangerous threat. It’s hard to stop him in man defense unless you have a very specific type of player that’s hard to come by, that being long, mobile wings like Jaden McDaniels, or a center who can come up to the level of a screen and handle shot creation in the paint like Gobert or AD (one of the reasons why Minnesota is a bad matchup for this OKC team)

Chet is the man. Everyone left him open the first month and he shot something ridiculous like 60% from three. Then they went after him at the line and he just faked and drove to the basket.. He's a generational player and he's having fun taking advantage of people doubting him

Thanks for the info. I watched the post game with the Thunder and there were alot of questions on how LA was changing their defensive rotations and sets..But until now, it didnt make complete sense. (was not able to watch the game due to where I live). thanks to your insight here it makes sense now.. It sounds like LA was throwing everything but the kitchen sink defensively last night but OKC just had answers.

Talent evaluation is still a unique skill. Paolo is terrific, and to the Magic was the safe choice, but Sam all along knew Chet was his man. So reminiscent of the 2007 draft when Oden was the safe pick and KD went second. Most GMs don’t want to look dumb so they go the easy route. MJP Jr. and this year Cam Whitmore. Now for Ousmane to take that fantastic leap.

@@nana-y4o3k Nah we not doing... Stop ignoring the fact Wemby barely get the ball passed to him and when he does get the ball he gets double and tripled teamed most the time unlike Chet. Wemby literally have no PG and Chet has one of the best PG in the league. That is why people get annoyed with chet fans because y'all move the goal post and ignore the facts. If you watch the Spurs game you would know Wemby barely get the ball pass to him and he literally have to force shots cause they only pass it to him when he have to run way out in the perimeter to get it. Chet have a better shot right now but Wemby definitely is more skilled. Wemby been putting up better numbers this year also since you trying to claim Chet is better which he is not.
