Interesting that the "I identify as" thing only works with gender. If say an 11 year old kid walks into a bar and demands to be served because he "identifies" as being 21, he's going to laughed at. But if a guy with a beard puts on a dress, and a wig and says "I identify as a woman," we are supposedly compelled to say " yes,as much a woman as your mother," out of fear of punishment. I want no parts of this at all. I refuse to go along with the lunacy and the group thinking. I don’t care about what other people think. I’m a firm believer that everyone can choose what they want for themselves, but nobody can impose their views, personal opinions and ideologies on another. I don’t care about losing a job because of it. In fact, I don’t want to work anywhere where I don’t have freedom of speech and freedom of choice in life matters. I will not butcher the English language and use plural words to describe a singular person. I will never call a man a woman or vise versa. I just reject all of it altogether. I have incurred consequences for being how I am, and I’m ok with that too. I know that we all pay a price for being who we are, and I pay the price too. What I won’t do is lose my sense of self or be told that I cannot be reactive my freedom of speech or have my own thoughts and opinions on different matters. And in my case, it doesn’t have anything to do with the LGBTQ+ community either. Have nothing against them. In fact, I’m a very open minded woman who has spent many a summers on Fire Island (where it’s super gay lol) and I’ve enjoyed many a night at gay nightclubs and have enjoyed many Drag shows. I have gay family and friends and love and respect them. However, there are certain things that are just not gonna fly with me. I’m not calling a man a woman or a woman a man. I don’t think children should be going to drag shows, or being taught sexual things. I don’t think children should be indoctrinated in anything at all. Not even religion. I believe that children should be given information (according to their age and maturity) and then be able to decide for themselves later on. Not be pushed into anything by people with agendas. That is my humble opinion.

There's a lot of hysteria around this issue, partly because it feels like the issue has arisen out of nowhere. But I would recommend people listen to parents of kids with body dysphoria. There are many suicides that result. That doesn't mean transgender people should be able to compete in female events, etc., but it should make us pause and consider the predicament that many kids are in, and the last thing these kids and parents need are the adults in power to react in the extreme way we see.

Gender dysphoria is very real and very rare.. it seems like now every kid has it.. I would recommend people to listen to parents of kids who transitioned because of social contagion and regretted it later.. parents whose children where taken away from them because school thought they know better and kid ended up in the system, exploited and what not..
