TaiYuan is a place worth visiting. It has a long history and culture, historical relics and old buildings. The ancient Chinese style towers have a sense of harmony and peaceful feeling. Shanxi s wine and vinegar are also famous. Barrett had tried them are all satisfied, especially the ice cream made with vinegar, which taste sweet and sour and he felt very strange. Thank s Barrett for sharing this Shanxi travel video.

Ancient Zhao kingdom has martial art tradition. Yu Rang failed to assassinate Zhao JianZi coz the latter destroyed his lord. Yu refused JianZi recruitment. JianZi let him go but Yu said he will attempt again. Finally JianZi gave him his coat, Yu stabbed the coat to complete his loyalty, b4 suicide.

Very Interesting.......The twin towers was an actual graveyard. Hope you were able to try some of their famous noodles. (Dao Xiao Mian with Vinegar). 🙂

I was in Taiyuan about 2 months ago. I must have stayed on the wrong side of town because I did not find it to be as pretty or interesting as you have shown. I did see the Shangxi museum, which was nice. And the lovely Jinci Park/Temple - which was a very long drive away from my hotel. Granted I was only there 1-2 days as a stop over between Inner Mongolia and Pingyao Ancient City, but the travel guides I had access to did not mention some of the places you showed. Can you please share WHERE you look to research the things to do when you visit? thanks. enjoyed the video even though I was jealous that you saw prettier parts of the city than I did. lol
