@@kaylamarten3872 Alcohol and Cocaine are both hard drugs by definition so they’re comparable definitely, both are very toxic for the body and mind and both have a high risk for addiction due to their pleasurable psychoactive effects. Alcohol especially since it’s socially acceptable and legal, The price of alcohol is also very cheap which can lead people who are looking for an escape a very easy way to temporarily escape their problems. Cocaine has extremely pleasurable effects the only reason it’s not used as much as alcohol is because it’s expensive and not a socially acceptable substance to use, it also isn’t legal which is another reason why it’s not used as much but the point being they’re definitely comparable.

Anyone who can't understand the joy of sipping on a glass of whiskey slowly for a couple hours while they do something to unwind hasn't lived enough life. You don't catch a buzz because it's a sip every 30 or so minutes. Kind of like sipping on a beer for an hour in a social situation. It's just nice to have the experience while keeping your wits about you or avoiding the adverse effects of getting drunk like not sleeping right, GI issues, etc.
