I love sleeping outside, ngl. Iskall's aunt sounds awesome ETA: don't fold your tent. Last it out in a line, then stuff it in hand full by hand full. Ok, I understand all the cons he said about sleeping in a tent. And I am ALWAYS soooo paranoid about all the insects and spiders, cause yeah, I am scared of them. BUT the atmosphere! You watching the stars and then you go to sleep, cuddle with your favourite parson (blame it on you being cold ✨), and its best when you hearing some small rain drops falling on the tent. Sadly you need someone to be with in that tent. 😅
@jsw9739 ай бұрын
Yes but consider; the beauty of the sky and raindrops can be experienced through a window. Cuddling with your SO is soo much more comfortable on a bed. I guess how much you love camping is entirely dependent on how much you can tolerate the bad things, and I am so much worse at it than you.

I genuinely believe a sleeping bag is more than enough padding for sleeping in a tent. Though it is important to pick a nice flat spot. I do hate bugs, but time of year can play a big role in keeping them out (the other half is ironically the tent). Though I've never been to Sweden, so maybe the trees there have like jagged roots made of cacti or something.

Packing the tent back down into the bag it came in is so easy tho. Standard dome tents fold the corners to the center, then fold in half, so you have a long rectangle. Put your polls and stakes on one end and roll the thing up. Put it in the bag.

Most places feel awful to sleep on, but sometimes you find a bit of ground that perfectly contours to your body and you end up having the best sleep of your life. As a kid, I would spend multiple weeks sleeping in a tent in the yard during the summer. I found an amazing spot to sleep and didn't move the tent in over a month; as a result I killed all the grass in that spot and I got grounded.
