Honestly, the best thing about Microblast is that the big vehicles (especially Minion) have a hard time hitting him due to his small size. And as for the whole "wanting to be tall" wish, I think that was lame. What they should've done was make him a parody of the Warwick Davis Leprechaun movies (since they referenced a lot of other popular movies at the time, that should've been one of them) and have Micro wish to find his gold, not just be some joke about short people. That was just dumb and felt like a wasted opportunity.

Special weapons are hugely important in TM4. This is because you can actually spam them with rear attack, which will automatically use the last weapon you had if you have no weapons left. So, empty your inventory, using your special LAST, and you can continue to spam them with rear attack input. This is also particularly effective with lightning

I think microblast was the first intentional joke character in twisted metal. Sure there are bad characters like tm2 twister, tm3 roadkill etc etc. The thing is their characters and weapons were meant to be taken *somewhat* seriously. Microblast is clearly meant to be bad and his character is just one giant joke.

Microblast was my favorite as a child, really liked the toy car design and how speedy it was but never understood why the game was so hard, now i get it, he was awful lol.

imagine your only real strength being easy to be miss. Microblast definitely feels like he's hard mode by limitation, because evasion will only get you so far in a game where you're trying to kill your enemies

I like the little gatling gun at the front of the vehicle but for it to just be "special" speed missiles was wasted potential for a design choice.

Microblast is the best character in any Twisted Metal game because I was dropped on my head as a baby, my micro PP got jammed in a hydraulic press, I live under the sink and I slurp my own ball sweat for sustenance.

As generally weak as this character is. I did love the fact you can fire his special as fast a possible. It's a cool concept to have a super fast special you can spam. Just wish it did a little more damage to make it worth it.

Yeah personally understand what you mean microblast was useless I can remember when Twisted Metal 4 first came out I was trying to unlock all the end of story modes in microblast was utterly grading to play with this character it was about as much fun as watching paint dry I was always told that there is a secret character that you can unlock by beating the game multiple times with microblast at least that's what I've been told but good luck with me ever unlocking it that could never devote my time to trying to beat the game that many times with microblast and the only other character that I can think of that's honestly almost is grating is Trashman but to me Twisted Metal forehead several of flaws and it's making but those are my thoughts.

In my opinion that special is very annoying not talking about the sound tho but with freeze and just letting that special rip into them as the legitimate only special that can go over the limit is cool in concept, but kinda underwhelming when you have the special legitimately be a pickup weapon....

Besides TM Small Brawl, TM4 is up there as one of the worst in the franchise. And it didnt really age well either with Drag Queen being a character. Its like 95 percent bad with the 5 percent being funny/good endings

I never personally played Microblast and now I am glad I never did, that special is freaking terrible! I think Grasshopper from TM2 has a much better Special. I imagine TM3 might have worst specials, but I never got to play that game.
