The first time I played wow was classic, it was a few years ago. I was addicted into level 60 or something, a few quests before the end and stopped. Realising it was taking all my time. Amazing first experience

Back when I used to play WoW, I mained a hunter and got really into soloing a lot of content. My advice? When you can get a turtle pet, they make for GREAT tanks. Or at least they did when I played years ago.

ahh ive been playing wow for the past 2 weeks and im obsessed D: ive gotten to like level 50 then make a new character to try out a different class over and over again horde and alliance but now im in love with the warrior class, i suck at dungeons and raids atm but i love the game overall ; its just chill and fun to play for hours

Hardcore is more for people that knows the game upside down and is looking for a way to keep the game fun and interesting by adding this challenge. That said, i am in NO way telling you to stop trying or anything like that, but it would be a shame if you quit the game because you are stuck unable to pass certain level. Before that happens, if you feel hardcore is stressing you out, consider make a regular character and just level up to 60. The journey to lvl 60 in vanilla was the best gaming experience of my life. And i got to experience that with my friends, so that just made it even better. I don't think any other game comes even close to the experience WoW offered back then, and you can still recapture some of that today with Classic. Anyway, good luck and hope you have lots of fun.

The term Power Leveling usualy means that players with higher level then you take you in their party and help you level up fast, usualy taking you through dungeons of your level where they kill everything super fast for you since they are max level and quite geared. To just kill mobs for xp is usualy called "grinding" In vanilla, quests are given to you often way before you can actualy do them by yourself. Often the quest will appear red in your quest log as a way to tell you the quest is quite hard for you, sometimes impossible to solo. Because of this, grinding mobs to level up and be able to complete the quest is usualy the way to go.

Just found this while searching for new players checking out classic. Doing HC without knowing the game is certainly brave. I loved the tension and buildup for fighting the demon and it turning out to be a total pushover. Although to be fair, caves are insanely scary haha

Owl’s are great, make sure you go to westfall at lvl 16 to tame a vulture to teach your owl screech, will help significantly

100% you should play softcore, not be because you can't do hardcore, but because you'll get to experience the game the way it was meant to be played. There's so much to do in wow and you can really only experience it all on softcore. Unfortunately I'm not sure if there's a softcore community playing right now, but when a fresh server comes out you should jump on it.
