I got extremely lucky, I ran a rift with 2 legendary crests and got a 5 star gem but now to upgrade it costs so much gem dust or whatever its called that its almost impossible. you get one gem dust per 1 star legendary orb that you break down and it takes 50 gem dust to increase it one level so that means i need to find or buy 50 legendary gems which is a hell of a lot of grinding or a hell of a lot of money

I built up a one star to 4 star in about 3 days. I got the extra 1 stars from running the elder rift with regular crests only that I buy with hilts. I also crafted them with tomes that drop in the elder rift. I will see how much work it takes to take that 4 star to a 5 star shortly.

I can only think while watching this "this is effing mental! Who in their right mind spends 10's of thousands of RL money on a MOBILE GAME!" This here is a perfect example on how easy it is for these games to bait you with limited offers, promising X times 100% value, when in fact the end-reward is completly randomised (i.e. gambling). I mean i do play Empires & Puzzles since about 4 years and from buying 1-10 $ offers i must have spent about 400 Bucks on that mobile game up until now. For me thats a lot of money for a game since i'm used to (and grew up on ) buying a game for PC or console and paying once up to 100 Bucks and then have a complete game. Mobile Games these days bait you with "Free 2 Play", which you can do, but to progress to the endgame and keep up, you're eventually forced to pay due to the random rewards from F2P being so lack luster, that it would take you decades to get to a decent power level. Evidence: in E&P i managed to get a good roster of 5* heroes (the highest tier), but they are all mostly sub-par since new heroes get released like every month and the new ones are always OP as fuck and you have to roll so many times to get one. When i used to buy a 10x roll i always got crap and maybe the lowest new 5* on the list. While other high tier players have all the new heroes immediatly upon release and fully leveled....the leveling also takes lot of resources and requires gems (i.e. the real money ingame currency) to do quickly....so there must be players who either hacked the game to get unlimited gems or spend thousands of bucks on it! I mean think about it! Compare D3 + reaper of souls to Immortal. D3 + ROS cost me roughly 150$ and i got a complete game which i still play every now and then after 10 YEARS! Now take D Immortal....it has been a couple weeks since release and already there are players who spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on this incomplete MOBILE GAME! For Blizzards revenue its great but its friggin Immoral and a tragedy what has become of mobile games! I remember when the mobile gaming started....you also bought a game with a one time fee and then had a complete game on your phone and to win you over they released light versions as demos. That was so much better....i could install the light version, play its content for free up to a certain point and if i was happy with it by then i'd buy the full version and thats it. But i guess that doesnt make as much money.
