I wonder if the dial on that Rolex may had been made by Stern? The Stern family, which is today best known for owning Patek Philippe, specialised in this type of work, and did a good amount for Rolex.

Do you think we’ll ever look at ikea furniture the same in years to come. Yes it’s wonderful glue and chipboard, the plastic handles are excisite. I reckon for insurance purposes £1:50 or a skip.

As a bit of light-hearted fun a few years ago, they appraised a well worn-out flat-screen tv.

There was some 50s Herman Miller office storage cabinet that they appraised on the show. It was one of those things that you'd imagine no one caring about and it getting thrown out. And it wasn't that sturdy to begin with, looking like a type of Ikea furniture, so I imagine a lot of them got broken too. But it appraised at $20,000 in 2017.
