Now this is for anyone who hasn't played the 9K but bare in mind that the 45 mm is prone to jamming if spammed, I recommend firing bursts of 2-3 rounds as well as setting up your weapon selection system to only use the 45 mm and save up the .50 if you run out of ammo. Also use flaps at your discretion lol

The yak9t is way better as a fighter because of the faster muzzle velocity and less bullet spread. The yak9k now has the aphe and hits way harder, but after about 1-2km, you really can't hit a specific spot on a tank or plane. Love the videos btw

@ccramit True, I was basing it off of other cannons that I regularly use, like hispanos, an/m2s and m3s, and mk103. I am basing this off of experience, not specific specs. All of those cannons I hit well over 2km if I line it up right. The mk103 and mk108 are some of the most satisfying guns that fire somewhat fast, but I do occasionally bonk people with the ns45 or ns37

Was cool to see someone who looked like they knew how to Ki-61. They REALLY don't like aileron rolling or engaging flaps at medium or high speeds so they fly weird but if you keep your maneuvering to rudder and elevator they can pull shit like that spiral climb that near got you.

Russia is the most spoonfed, easymode nation in this game. Yea, lets just give the Yak-9 cannon ammo that can 1 shot tigers, that'll be mega balanced and definately not spammed. And top tier is just KA and SU-25 missile spam from orbit and broken models that survive direct main gun hits to the face. The bias is so blatant.

Easy mode? Prop planes can't dive which means that you need to not be above 600 km/h while in a dive which decreases your ability to energy fight. While most other planes can be with 200+km/h faster. The airframe for most russian fighters is fragile also they have limited ammo. The wooden parts burn very good too. The planes are good below 5km but start to suffer above that just as they were in real life. They are not easy mode, it's just the Yaks are a jack of all trade making them very flexible and thus good in a furball. Almost every plane can be very strong if people know how to fly them. I fought a Bf109 1 vs 1 with my Yak 3. The guy knew how to fight. Just BnZ, climb and repeat. I couldn't do a thing and i am mostly a good player. You want to complain about OP firepower? How about we talk about the lazer 50.cals that never in RL ripped a wing but in WT it cuts wings and airframes in half like butter acting like cannons? Speaking also of being spoonfed, how about how many American planes especially early jets have airspawn for no reason at all making them 3km above everyone else?

There is a mild element of truth to it but much less these days then it was 10 years ago. A lot of it is down to inflated soviet reports on aircraft performance to make them sound better than they were.
