The new floors appear to be "luxury vinylflooring.' Barf! Theo riginal tall baseboards were removed in order to install the abominable flooring. People, stop doing these horrible things to beautiful old houses.

I agree the real wood floors are much better but I have noticed on some of these old homes there are gaps between the planks of original wood. I guess it just comes down to cost and preference 🤔

Wood floors look good for about 6 months then they begin to wear, LVP can take abuse and clean up easy, wood floors look great again when you refinish, but let's be honest, refinishing happens 20 years later when you go to sell.

Yes the LVP flooring and the painted over wood work is sad, but it’s all about resale price. If they took the time AND money to basically restore it to original, they’d never be able to price it to sell in the market of that neighborhood. Beautiful old house though, someone could buy and slowly restore it themselves (as a project) but again you would never get your investment back out of it. Nice tour Tim BTW, thanks!

Also why is the camera on the person giving the tour so much instead of showing the house? You really only need one person filming these. I would never buy into that for 200. Look at that kitchen alone... nope. What about the foundation? The roof new? What's the insulation value? What happens when it rains heavy? Leaks or water anywhere? Narrow as F***. 95K in Pitt, maybe, but go out of the county and boom.. 200K gets you so much more with land. What about the location.?? You don't show the core of the building, just the cosmetics. Not a buyer by any means if you were the agent.
