Good question - its a region standard. LATAM has big inequality issues and this is to prevent crime

@@GenERICexpats A few months before you posted this video an intruder shot an killed a man during a burglary in this same community (pretty sure it is San Pedro el Alto a gated community in San Pedro Las Huertas based on the video here). Therefore, the razor wire (even electrified) is definitely recommended).
